A Message to Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal

On June 22, 2022, Dr Jordan B Peterson posted a tweet over trans actor Elliot Page. Within hours, his account was banned. On July 1, the video “Twitter Ban” goes live on Peterson’s channel, where he breaks down and analyzes the incident. Weeks pass, but no answers emerge from Twitter: no reinstatements or explanations. Now, Dr Jordan B Peterson has a message for Parag Agrawal, CEO of Twitter.

Dr. Peterson’s extensive catalog is available now on DailyWire+:

Dr. Jordan B Peterson is a professor and clinical psychologist. The videos are derived from two sources: 1. His UToronto courses Maps of Meaning (which describes how values, including beliefs about good and evil, regulate emotion and motivation); and Personality & Its Transformations (which describes psychological theories from Eliade, Jung, Freud, Rogers, Gray, Luria, Sokolov, Vinogradova, Panksepp, Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, and Solzhenitsyn as well as psychometric models such as the Big Five). 2. His public lectures on topics of general psychological relevance, including the meaning of music, the significance of hero mythology, and the structure of the world as represented in religion.

  1. A part of me finds it deeply ironic how Jordan Peterson, a stanch proponent and defender of capitalism so fiercely criticize a company after they removed him to defend their own capitalistic interests. And I find it ironic how a proclaimer of self-realization through personal sacrifice and responsibility (which has helped me immensely) so vehemently disparage the public platform rather than looking inward and taking responsibility for his own actions.

There's the war in Ukraine, increasing tensions between the West, Russia and China, climate change, an energy crisis, covid, and probably more problems I can't currently think of. However, trans naming conventions is the threat to our way of life? That is the hill worth dying on? Some quick research reveals about 9000 transgender surgeries performed annually in the US, a study from Netherlands following transgendered people from 1972 to 2015 revealed as little as 0.6% to 0.3% of those going through surgeries actually regretting them. This means every year there's an average of 54 people regretting their surgery. Alcohol is responsible for 3900 deaths per year in young people, but trans naming conventions is the threat to our way of life.

One of his most important rules is to not lie. Yet he as a public figure fails to research the topics he speaks about, or even worse he disregards the statistic and facts of the topics he choose to speak of. It's my opinion what he is doing is grandstanding and trying to rally his supporters rather than actually changing twitter or society at large.

Remember what he has said himself: if you truly want to know what someone is doing don't listen to what they say, but watch what they are doing and the effects of what they are doing. What I see him accomplishing is rallying and gathering supporters from the conservatives that agree with him, I don't know to what purpose he is doing this, but Jordan Peterson has never been less relevant on the world stage since his rise a few years ago.

  2. Thanks for speaking out Sir. I only joined Twitter because elon was to purchase and i believe it would be ran fairly and not one sided.
I do still uave account but only respond occasionally. Im hoping he will obtain it at reduced price and clean it up. I will eventually get rid of it, I have a feeling someone will make a new platform to directly compete with twitter. In the mean time, I'm slowly using other outlets like truth social/rumble. I am concerned about rumble. Rumble is a Canadian based platform which doesn't have to follow usa constitution.

  3. Thank you for providing this tipping point that has persuaded me to cancel my Twitter account. It was a useless platform that wasn't really helping me derive any useful information what so ever. I applaud your wisdom and your fight against the idiocy that is attempting to silence honest dialog. Bravo, Sir.

  4. 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12
The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

  5. This is why I delete all my social media platform accounts. YouTube is very close to being next. The founders of all these platforms are trying to have control over everything we do. They can all suckle on my man parts 😎

  6. I was banned for life from twitter (told if I attempted to make a new account I would continuously be banned) without any given reason. My only guess is that whenever I commented on controversial tweets I would be coerced into adding my phone number. I refused and was denied access to twitter. I wated for 2 months and when I checked again I was banned for life without reason and appeal denied. So, if you are progressive you can remain anonymous, but if you criticize authoritarianism you must identify yourself via phone number or be removed.

  7. While I do think that quote "deadnaming" someone is at least a little bit rude, I acknowledge the right and freedom for dr. Peterson to say it. He understands the irreparable consequences of hurrying into transsexual medical practises and perhaps preaches for awareness and thorough consideration before an individual undergoes such an extreme transformation/mutilation. I am not against trans people, nor am I for them, but nowadays we're in a world where one is not even allowed to be skeptical of the transsexual transformation and to do so we will be insulted for the worst by the extreme, loud trans-activists.

  8. Why even desire to be on Twitter, Mr. Peterson, if it is very flawed, unfair, and biased? Of course you can criticize it, but you cannot control it. Epictetus would agree. Find a worthier platform, then, one that is less flawed to your liking.
