The focus of my life since 2012 was to bring sanity back to the work environment, because I believe we spend so much time at work that we shouldn’t be miserable. I have an MBA and a PhD in psychology, specializing in industrial/organizational psychology. I have my own practice - Zen Workplace - where I integrate organizational psychology and positive psychology with mindfulness techniques to help make work better. I’m also the Chief Science Officer of RallyBright, where I work to build high-performing, resilient teams. But that’s not how most people know me. Most people know me as a (now former) Democrat of 20 years who went to a Trump rally. The article I wrote about my experience went viral and garnered 3 million views in the first week. I was featured by Fox News, Glenn Beck, Dennis Prager, and on dozens of radio shows, podcasts, and YouTube videos.

  1. I live south of Boston, haven’t been up to Portsmouth in a long time apparently! I didn’t realize it had become such a liberal enclave! I guess the great adult store at the Portsmouth rotary is gone! LOL! I think it was called Pete’s Palace.

  2. Observation: No one was wearing a mask. Karens were wearing a mask.
    Karens are no one.
Political prejudice: When you see people who are really happy and having a good time.
    They are Trump supporters.
When you see people either angry or really sad, they are Democrats.
Democrats color is blue. Blue = sad.
Why are Trump supporters/Republican/Conservatives happy? Because they are satisfied, they are content with their situation, and if their situation isn't to their liking, they can change it.
Why are Biden supporters/Dems/Liberals sad/angry? Because they are not content, everything offends them. And if they don't like their situation, they aren't able to fix it. They will moan and complain and whine hoping somebody will fix it.

  3. Hampton Beach! So cold your toes turn purple! But New Englanders are a hearty bunch!

WOW!!! “Giant sticks up the azz.” That’s EXACTLY the Image I was trying to name!

  4. NPR has "not-commercial" commercials that are for thousand dollar chairs, brokerage houses, yachts and billion dollar heiress foundations…on National PUBLIC Radio. The rich leftists care zero for black lives, but do care about Black Votes and hoarding land and wealth so black people have a harder time getting and owning land….Dems want vote slaves

  5. It’s kind of sad because the fucking DEMs will fine them handsomely if they get caught allow customers in with out masks. It the fucking DEMs that play the fear mongo on people.

  6. Goddammit, I'm pregnant. I can't drink and I'm trying to avoid crowded public places including town centres and restaurants at the moment for the sake of my unborn child. It's bloody miserable.

  7. And we definitely have the best (and original) Portsmouth here in the UK. The Mary Rose Museum is incredible and Nelson's flagship, HMS Victory, is so cool. Definitely not a snooty, high class place.

  8. The Trader Joe's near me is like that. They go full on scrub everything down mode, must have a mask on, and they make you stand far back from the checkout station until they've taken your items to the register and scanned every single thing. Insane.

  9. thr truth is as your ancestors all knew for millennia since the days of Adam the Left is the side of evil the right the side of Good thats a law of the universe. Your running out of time if theres one Democrat or leftist left on the earth when judgment day gets here your all going to hell.

  10. There was a video that had the title, "The Right Think The Left Is Misguided. The Left think The Right Is Evil." (Tim Pool I think…maybe???) It does kind of explain it. Right is everyone who is not left in this context.

  11. Theory: these people (given their attitude) sound like frustrated royals annoyed at us commoners being uppity. If the rich set up an authoritarian socialism then guess who will run it? The rich. And an authoritarian socialism looks surprisingly like a feudal system if you really think about it.

    Hear me out.

Everyone is beholden to the king (the party and high chancellor) and there are descending fiefdoms with party officials taking the place of earls and dukes. The political bosses and commissars are the knights. And the internal security is the king's sheriffs represent the king locally (think sheriff of Nottingham) The workers are the serfs.

I'm not saying that is right, but, it does kind of fit the facts a bit.

  12. I also can't help but wonder if, much like the Duck and Cover cartoons of the 1950's, if these masks are giving people a false sense of safety and actually making the situation worse.

  13. These Bougie, entitled, University educated, almost entirely white, anxious, uptight, killjoy, scowling, authoritarian prigs are almost entirely the product of University indoctrination, as far as I can tell. It is there, in University, that they become utterly indoctrinated into the Rite and Dogma of the Church of Leftism, rife with the trappings of Socialist/Marxist/postmodernist/intersectionalist quasi-theocratic fervor. It is a religion to them, they KNOW they are right. They KNOW you are wrong. They MUST spread their gospel, be it by soliloquy, pen or sword.

  14. Trump himself is one to live in the moment. I remember at his inauguration he cheerfully shook hands with Hilary and everyone was all amazed about it. But from his body language I think he was genuinely glad she came to his party right then.

  15. I'm Mexican-American and I'm not rich. But I still wear a mask everywhere I go. As you know, the Latino community has been hit pretty hard by the virus. Personally, I've lost the best opportunity to save my dog's life. We had saved up for years to get my little Beagle heart surgery in Japan to forever fix his degenerative heart disease (the only place where it's done), and now Japan has closed off entry from the U.S. because of the surge in covid-19 cases in the U.S.

I know it's tempting to dismiss masks because Democrats are so intense about it, but I ask you to step back and look at mask wearing without this bias. Just because Democrats are for it doesn't automatically make it a bad thing. They actually work. Please don't make this a political thing. When I see people not wearing mask I wish they could feel my disappointment in knowing that my best friend can't get life-saving surgery, in large part, bc of this type of behavior. I don't get mad. It just breaks my heart.

  16. I try so hard to watch all your ads in full because I know you get more money that way but I just got a 13 minute ad on this video. YouTube sucks. ?
