Assange extradition hearing resumes: the future of a free press on trial

This is so heartbreaking to listen too! How I wish an Organization would come together to BREAK ASSANGE OUT OF JAIL! NO WAY should this man be in jail for exposing the corruption in America and all over the World, but especially American and Britain!
Guys, with this happening to Assange and Snowden, its easily understood WHY reporter's are not reporting any longer! THIS COULD HAPPEN TO ANY OF US! What is WORSE, there is NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT!

The persecution of a journalist is of no interest to the well-fed corporate newspapers of the US.
The New York Times, Washington Post and the rest of those rags with inflated reputations serve no purpose.

The majority of reporters went into hiding when it came to Assange. Freedom no longer exists for Americans and why should the press have freedom?

Will the Swedish Academy be at least as bold and fearless as they were when awarding the Piece Prize to the war criminal Obama and award the Prize to Julian? That would be an interesting dichotomy on more than one level.

America and Britain have no right to complain about kangaroo courts after this debacle. There is no semblance to rule of law in their behaviors.

No ONE can defend him? What kind of world is this?

Can be summed up thus… A classic kangaroo court, led by groveling, butt kissing government and legal lick spittles in the UK. A curse on all their houses for persecuting and psychologically torturing a truthful journalist who exposed US war crimes… Put the murdering war criminals in prison, not the man who reported their atrocities.

Where is Jeffrey Robinson in all of this? Why isn't he piping up about this obvious, blatant miscarriage of justice?

Even though there is no proof that Assange was involved in organizing theft of DNC emails with hacking, people who say that is why he is facing extrication are either lying or not seeing the full picture. The USA has been determined to get him since long before the 2016 elections. It is a kangaroo court, at least so far. Saying he is not a journalist, or it's not a political extradition and that being accepted is proof it is not an honest court. How does a non-journalist win so many awards for journalism? Saying the extradition is not related to his journalism is total baloney. Having so much control of the legal system that you can assert the ridiculous is like being able to rule that the moon is made of cheese because you control all the telescopes, i.e., it makes it very difficult to challenge bogus rulings.
All the powerful entities in the USA and London et cetera that have so much influence upon political outcomes need to be broken up. A handful of investment firms control around $30 trillion in assets and they use that as collateral to leverage many times that amount in fresh credit. Governments depend on these private firms to buy their treasury bonds, because it is how almost all governments borrow. That makes the firms very powerful and influential all over the world. No, I do not mean the shadowy bankers with big noses. I mean trillions worth of accumulated capital assets in the hands of a few and how they are licensed to issue credit against those assets, i.e, create money. What ethnicity some of them are is not why it happens. The system that allowed such concentration of private wealth is the problem.
This reliance of entire countries on a handful of private companies makes the problem of trusts in the guilded age look kind of small fry. That problem caused the anti-trust laws to be needed, but nothing is yet being down about this. These multi-trillion dollar firms are not so fussed about the things ordinary folk squabble about in partisan debates. They think about things like laws, or even governments that get in the way of further capital asset acquisitions etc. The proven dominance of political outcomes by these super wealthy cliques and firms has effectively disenfranchised the masses who very rarely get the political outcomes they are polled as desiring. That is a huge problem, because it means things like the interests of that $30 trillion in assets is what is ruling us and therefore shaping the world, not the people we vote for to represent our interests.
