  1. For me wearing a mask is like wearing a costume and I love it. So in my opinion criticizing people wearing a mask is simply unproductive. It's like criticizing someone wearing baseball cap. You are ridiculous. Because you demand tolerance for people not wearing a mask, and you are not tolerant yourself.

  2. I have four masks that I've had since early January 2021, and simply re-used….over and over. Fully effective? No. But it makes people happy to see me wearing these in a shop or store.

  3. I will volunteer to be an Officer in your militia when you are ready. Also, I do not want to get political, but the Libertarian party is the only party that gets it. Its just my opinion but less government is the only way to have liberty and freedom.

  4. Couldn’t agree more. Absolutely love your podcast – nice to know I’m not the only one who thinks the world is stark-raving mad right now….!! Canada is in a far worse state than the US – I don’t recognize my country, it’s absolute tyranny.

  5. If you're scared of being judged by others you will surely lose. The authoritarians win by brainwashing the stupid people and watching people like you fold to the social pressure.

  6. I never understand why, if the vaccine is protected the vaccinated from getting infected, why are they afraid of getting covid from either the vaccinated or the unvaccinated?

  7. It could be that a lot of these mandates are just virtue signalling by politicians who want to show they are acting like others (keep up with the Jones as it were).

  8. my work in a theatre (opera) are bringing in the passports for audience despite not even being within the govts remit of standing venues only (so far). Those in the band who refused to comply with disclosing 'status' were randomly out-grouped and at first asked to pay for more tests AND do free tests much more regularly than the medicated.

  9. I only wear a mask in crowded indoor places not because I comply but because an immuno-compromised senior person lives with us. Common-sense tells me that an airborne virus, if it exists at all, can be filtered out from entering my respiratory system with a mask with quality electrostastic filter media. I only use N95/KF94 masks, not the bs cloth covering. I have no way of personally verifying if the virus exists at all but I prefer to be on the safe side and not be the cause of infection of a family member who lives with us.

  10. I’ve almost never worn a mask, not even when our governor instituted a mandate. I sometimes wore one to walk into a store and then removed it. I was often the only person in a store without one. (It’s a very uncomfortable position, but we have to take a stand.) I’m not sick so I’m not going to pretend that I’m sick and spreading an illness. It is not my job to protect others, obviously I would stay home if sick, that’s the job of each individual. Just say no.

  11. Controversial opinion, what's off putting about this podcast now is the amt of victim-vs-oppressor dynamics that they play with. The same thing that is annoying about CRT I see being leveraged here.

  12. We have all been taught to be polite – caring toward our society etc. – all good things. I think Heather is more non compliant because she is less willing to participate in a fallacy than Bret just to go along to get along. After I had my son I changed from being extremely pro “just go along” and inwardly roll my eyes at stupidity – to forget about it. I have wondered over the years if my change was an evolutionary way of stepping into motherhood to protect my child – he was now more important to me than what society thought of me. It felt like legitimizing my authority.
