An Indian court has ordered Bill Gates, the Indian government and the Serum Institute of India — the world’s largest vaccine manufacturer — to formally respond to a case filed by the father of a 33-year-old doctor who died after receiving AstraZeneca’s Covishield COVID-19 vaccine. In the lawsuit filed in February the father, Dilip Lunawat, is seeking $126 million in compensatory damages over the March 1, 2021 death of his daughter, Snehal Lunawat
