  1. There are labour shortages across the country, they can find job easily

By the way, dont think its right t blame the govt. Nobody made builders sign up 300 jobs. They should have stopped taking on jobs when their schedule is full

  2. Florien you need to expose our lazy BCC Workers!
Wish Brisbane City Council would sack their dead wood , the amount of work completed at Kalinga park from flood damage is appalling, wish I filmed the whole time they were always sitting down! Absolutely disgraceful no wonder our Council rates are high!
If private enterprise did the flood cleanup it would have been completed 3 months earlier!

  3. I'm in this industry and I'm seeing it already with support group and counselling advice and watching the two biggest housing groups start laying off people it's just a matter of time before these other industries linked to this will building affect and they'll be more layoffs for people

  4. Second worst builder in Victoria after JG King. Fake price advertising and poor transparency. The supervisor is the real builder of the home as trades will work for multiple companies, but the supervisor is the only person at these builders that see what's really getting built.

  5. Heise check out the story in ABC today about the government scheme to buy-back flood damaged homes in QLD? Tax payer money, to buy ruined houses that need tearing down, and paying the people off so they can go buy elsewhere, sounds like public funded home insurance!
