During the Trump impeachment proceedings, Democratic Congressman and Chair of the House Intelligence Committee Adam Schiff talked a good game about “American values” and the like, but when he decided he didn’t like certain journalists and tried to get them banned from social media outlets, well, maybe that whole “freedom of the press” thing wasn’t quite so important after all. In the latest Twitter Files dump, journalist Matt Taibbi reveals the efforts Schiff made to silence journalists who were a bit too “oppositional.”

Jimmy you have a great show and you bring decent news with genuine humour and you seem to want to do good, however you've brought up my country's politicians a couple of times and I just wanted to update you on what Barrett, one you highlighted, is up to at the moment. He reckons, cos of Ukraine, that our government has the power to force people into housing Ukrainians in spare bedrooms. Just thought you'd like to know. There are no good politicians in Ireland, I'm being 100% serious. Please if you get a story about an Irish politician, look into them. I guarantee you they have an agenda. Hasn't been a good politician in Ireland for 40 years.
