Cases, 9

Between 1 and 6 years old

2 liver transplants

No epidemiological links so far

Adenovirus 41

About half have tested positive

No viral genetics as yet

Known to cause hepatitis in immunocompromised

More cases expected to report

As of 11th April

No hepatitis deaths recorded

One epidemiologically linked case detected

(patient contact with a sufferer or point source of infection)

Dr Meera Chand, director of clinical and emerging infections, UK Health Security Agency

investigate a wide range of possible factors which may be causing children to be admitted to hospital with liver inflammation known as hepatitis

One of the possible causes that we are investigating is that this is linked to adenovirus infection

However, we are thoroughly investigating other potential causes

SARS-CoV-2 detected in several cases

Officials stressed

no link Covid-19 vaccine

none of the children affected by hepatitis had received a jab

Wating for

Infections, chemicals, toxins

Dr Chand

Normal hygiene measures such as good handwashing, including supervising children,

and respiratory hygiene, help to reduce the spread of many of the infections that we are investigating.

We are also calling on parents and guardians to be alert to the signs of hepatitis,

including jaundice, and to contact a healthcare professional if they are concerned

Hello Everyone,My name is John Campbell and I am a retired Nurse Teacher and A and E nurse based in England. I also do some teaching in Asia and Africa when time permits. These videos are to help students to learn the background to all forms of health care. My PhD focused on the development of open learning resources for nurses nationally and internationally.

  1. Dismissing covid jab when it's a known side effect. Hope they are paying you well, hope you sleep at night. It was literally listed in the pfizer paper (that you, reluctantly, reviewed)

  2. Knowing, that the lipidshells from the mRNA-Injektion concentrate in the liver, there might be actually a connection to this treatment. Knowing that this treatment confuses and weakens the Immunsystem there might be a connection. It's terrible. Poor kids and their families. it's heartbreaking.

  3. This made my heart drop. Summer 2020, when the dermatologist in FL spoke about post viral syndrome causing mis-c, reporting covid toes, etc. In kids, I was concerned. I have autoimmune disease and I've gotten flares with my toes like that, for years, prior to covid. So I recognized them. I have scarring. Covid is a severe autoimmune virus. We said kids had a low chance of getting covid. But did they? Asymptotic infections are more likely.
Children's immune systems are compromised now. In my opinion, these poor kids' livers aren't able to filter out the viral load. We need to do a lot of testing and tracking, (cbc, ana) as I suspect autoimmune disease will be increasing in all ages, "post" covid.
Long covid behaves something like lupus, imo.
PS, I had covid, summer of 2020, and have developed GI problems unknown, a lot of pain in the liver, gallbladder area. No stones, liver is ok, no panreatitis, but a pancreatic cyst. Ipmn. We're just going to watch it as it's benign. But with malignant potential. In my notes that i requested there was a "post viral" notation. Nobody mentioned it to me though.
I've been a watcher of this channel since late last fall, I believe. I enjoy listening to you, Dr. Campbell. Your teaching and delivering of information is excellent. Thank you.

  4. Autoimmune hepatitis already rreported in adults after vaccination. A vaccine history in these children would be interesting to know. All the more reason to have safty data on these vaccines available for review.

  5. To see if this is related to the pandemic and "catching up" it would be useful to look at 5 year averages of hepatitis or hepatitis numbers during the two years of the social distancing. How many extra cases do we have now compared to any lower number of cases during the 2 years of restrictions, surely that is the obvious thing to look at? The data coming out regarding these cases is just typical scare mongering by leaving out the context, something we've had enough of over the last few years. Would be great if Dr Campbell could investigate and could give us that context.

  6. Of course, there is no connenction to a jab because vaccines are only "safe and effective". I am curious how many of the kids were recently vaccinated or their parents or close relatives were? We know now about spike protein shading. We will see more "miracle diseases" in the next months as the immune system of the vaxxed people start to shut down. Glad I didn't listen to talking heads on Youtube and didn't participate in this medical experiment. Guess what? – I didn't have flu (called now covid) even if I have a close contact with people every day.

  7. John – since a number of children in the UK (5 or 6 out of 10 age 12 and up ??) have been vaccinated, I actually smell a rat in that we are told none of those with hepititis were vaccinated. Statistically that seems highly unlikely does it not?? So many health issues have arisen from the vaccines AS WELL AS from Covid. Furthermore, inflammation is certainly an adverse vaccine event. Please keep sceptical about this, thank you ☺

  8. Dr. John. You may be following the data but a lot of your followers are not. They are making opinion based statements. Please tell them not to assume or guess or tell stories. It is not helpful or good in many ways.

  9. "Washing hands … PLEASE !" – must be said, showed, practiced, together – THE POWER OF EXAMPLE, in kindergarten, in school, in restaurants, AND at home SPECIALLY !
    🌿❤☘ Spring in your hearth ! ✌

  10. Don’t assume what you think it is or is not. Follow the data. Too many people taking opinions as fact. Worse than any virus. Yes you can have an opinion. State it is as such. DR. John does. Do the same.

  11. Inflammation is a adverse reaction to covid vaccination, pfizer documents release under court order in America states this fact.
Are you going to look at the second set of documents and the damming information on pregnant women 😔
Also worth looking into why so many people started the trials and then were dropped because they had reactions, they has been lots of hearing in the States about this 😔
These trials need to stop, 2 years and the vaccines are still only approved for 'emergency use only' that's a joke
