To expand on what razorfist has said a bit. China DOESN'T have the US debt. It has 4000 TIMES the US debt (source Peter Zeihan) and its had a slowly collapsing economy since 2008.
Next point. China's Navy isn't even the largest in Asia, that belongs to *glorious nipponu*. Japan and the Japanese just ordered 2 supercaririers from us early in the t-rump prez run, one of which was delived last year and the other will be finished by January. Yes china has a larger air force…. of largely outdated planes and whatever new plane the Russians sell them. But as a reminder. The US holds the current 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th largest air corps on earth, with great Britain being 4th. China doesn't even Crack the top 15. Don't let this dissuade you from the fact they are more then willing to press a certain red button though.
3rd and final point. China acquired its soft power through corrupting and lying to us commies about what they were capable of. This has seen a pushback as the more extreme communist and socialist forces in the US see China not as a success now. But more and more as a failed state that aligns itself with the interests of the "white" based hegimon they wish to overthrow. This has caused hollywood and most money to fuck off leaving China to have less money and influence. Couple that with a active power struggle in the us government over who will actually do anything and china's been left holding the bag.
