  3. Miami mayor says that decades long sanctions against CUBA is not cruel. And he advocates for military airstrikes against such a compromised country. There is a special kind of karma coming that guy's way. Wait for it!

  8. Meanwhile Cuba with lost of empty Hotels due to Covid travel restriction while the Hospitals are full and can't handle more patients. I can't believe the blockade did this to Cuba…. Sarcasm/

  15. my friend told me she actually saw the US planes dropping chemicals on crops in Cuba – the people in the area were not surprised like she was and said it happens regularly.

  18. My understanding, and I visited Cuba and talked with people there, is that Doctors have been exported to help pay for goods and services. Indentured servitude vs humanitarian aid, take your pick. Which makes more sense.

    The Cuban political elite and their closest friends and allies also own everything of value. You need to be connected to own a home for rent, to run a taxi service or a restaurant. Anger them and they take it away. Again, from my conversations

The west has sabotaged every single socialist country and commie country ever and then claim they dont work. meantime these poor countires getting sanctioned and getting non stop coup attempts still manage to do much better than their capitalist counterpart poor countries. seems like it must be the system
