  1. You cannot quote your self to prove your point, that is nonsense.

How dare you brow beat our country on being at war along side our ally and pontificate that we are equal in atrocities.

Those Muslims are not stated as Innocents, That makes them Muslim terrorists if so then good.

I am sick of hearing your CCP talking points,

Since 1949, the establishment of the PRC, at least 490 million (including forced abortions) people have been killed by the Chinese Communist Party.

If including the Civil War of China during 1927–1936, and 1947–1949, the CCP would responsible for another 20 million people’s death.

Therefore, the total population lost would increase to at least 510 million.

They made innocent family's eat human feces in the street to humiliate them, then stole every thing they own.

They destroyed the Chinese Culture that proceeded and replaced it with CCP propaganda to their liking, and even now they are killing people in "re-education camps" using rape and other tortures, The violent crack down in Hong Kong over civil rights, that EVERY AUSTRALIAN should up hold,

Lets not forget the revolutionary war never ended Taiwan is the last bastion of the true rightful government of China.

Not to mention the death toll in conflict with India, Vietnam and the war in Korea.

Don't forget our friends the Falun Gong.

  2. I hope there are enough thinking people to understand the importance of this discussion, how Mr Lander must have seen the world change and society change, a voice of experience, honesty, compassion and intelligence, ringing the bell to wake us up to the very brutal and real crimes of our elected officials.
The evident strain in John's voice is almost hard to bear. Thank you all for being great and courageous Men, I pray its your time

  3. An excellent conversation and insights from John Lander. These interviews should be circulated to secondary schools for history education to young Australians. Sadly most older Australians are seemingly happy to remain in sleepwalking ignorance.

  4. Again, incredible insight listening to John Lander. You are right. We do need a Peace Movement, especially with the proxy war that is currently happening in Ukraine. We do not need another proxy war orchestrated through our politicians for us, in our own back yard. We must stand up as a sovereign nation and not as a lap dog to someone else's Foreign Policy for their own vested interests.

  5. Relating to the Xinjiang Ughur story, everyone knows the western countries bands together, some odd 20 of them, made a joint UN Submission in 2019 condemning Chinese actions.

What is not reported is that in the 41st session of the UN Human Rights council hosted between 24 June – 12 July 2019, more than 50 countries made submissions in support of China's handling of the Ughur situation in Xinjiang. This document is freely available at the UN General Assembly website, code: GE.19-13719(E).

In this joint support of China, quote:

"Mr. President, Madam High Commissioner (of the UN Human Rights Council), We, the co-signatories to this letter, reiterate that the work of the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC) should be conducted in an objective, transparent, nonselective, constructive, non-confrontational and non-politicized manner.'

then these diplomats goes on to say, quote:

"China has invited a number of diplomats, international organizations officials and journalist to Xinjiang to witness the progress of the human rights cause and the outcomes of counter-terrorism and deradicalization there. What they saw and heard in Xinjiang completely contradicted what was reported in the media. We call on relevant countries to refrain from employing unfounded charges against China based on unconfirmed information before they visit Xinjiang."

Now if you think this is a 'west' against 'the rest' thing and its just allies of China jumping to its defence, then yes, there are some of the old friends of China in this list of 50 countries, like North Korea and Russia.

What is more interesting is that among the list of countries that does support China, includes numerous majority Islamic countries of both Shia and Sunni sects, including Yemen, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Egypt, Iran, but also traditionally US allied Islamic countries like Iraq (which is run by a US installed government), the UAE, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.

You would notice some of these Islamic countries are… enemies of each other, like Iran and Iraq (that fought a brutal stalemate resulting in half a million dead), Yemen and Saudi Arabia (current on going war of extermination), etc. It is also curious that the country that supports China include third-world countries that had suffered under US founded extremism and coups.

If you think that you care for the Muslims in China more than both segments of the Islamic world, then you are kidding yourself. If you think China has enough clout to cause US-allied Islamic countries to betray the US and lie to cover for its 'genocide', then again you are kidding yourself. There is no genocide, just like there are no Iraq WMDs, or Kuwait incubator babies, or any real Gulf of Tonkin incident.

The US has manufactured one crisis after another for China, before Xinjiang it was Hong Kong, before that was Tibet, and before that was Taiwan (which is making a resurgence). So much so, the US devoted money and media clout to start the 'East Turkmineistan" separatist movement that renamed Xinjiang in hopes of getting it to break away. Just as they have funded a Shanghai separatist movement following the lockdowns this year. Its a joke.

  6. YES, brilliant video, so informative.. My question is when, was there a time when it wasn't so, did our own foreign affairs become hostage to 'western allies'? John Lander certainly points to Australian national interests being hijacked and sabotaged so that it suits foreign meddling interests. There must be a timeline that current Australian successive governments are made to follow and how will this affect ordinary Australian? What will it cost us to extricate ourselves and why not? PS> Australian security is not defence it is offence. My fave all-time politician Whitlam and my officiator at my citizenship ceremony was Nick Origlass and at the ceremony we gave allegiance to Australia and sang "Waltzing Matilda" instead of GSTQ.

  7. I know it's serious but I can't stop laughing at the idea that Australia has its guns pointing the wrong way – again! While we are busy gazing dewey-eyed at England and America the Chinese sailed in the back door. Bwahaha.,..

  8. hawkish US pushing a pram with baby Australia, Morrison Government, in harms way…..all the while the clock is being rewound by China so as not to trample the baby. Australian people do not want to go to war. Thank you John Lander.
