Jimmy & Guest, apparently you don't know another important component to the Will Smith story. Pfizer sponsored the Academy Awards. The FDA is approving a Pfizer treatment for alopecia. That whole scene was great advertising for Pfizer. I suspect Will Smith did not actually hit Chris Rock that hard so that's why he could recover so fast. It was all for show biz & advertising.
