I learned of him only once he began his 2008 campaign to try to become the DNC nominee to run for US President and he definitely struck me as a good candidate at that time, but I haven't learned anything about him since then. Just checked the Wikipedia page about him and it says that he also tried the same thing again for the 2020 race and I hadn't learned about this at all. Definitely seemed to be the best candidate in 2008, but the US MIC and Wall Street chiefs surely wouldn't have worked to help his campaign at all.

  12. Jimmy giving a proper tribute! Seeing Gravel read those papers, and call out the Dems, gives me that firey hunger to fight back, that has been gone since bernie vanished like the Avatar.

Gravel was so prescient about the top-tier candidates on that stage, esp about OSCAMA, the Outstanding SCAM Artist who teamed up with another candidate there, HR Clinton, to commit the Libya and Syria and Yemen carnage, plus extending the occupation and misery of Iraq and Afghanistan. And their buddy Biden who was on the stage, is now continuing on their path.

  26. I know Jimmy has good intentions but some of this stuff is not sensible. We do need covert affairs to keep others in check. Bringing back soldiers is great. But there is true evil that needs to be kept in check. And no, I'm not naive to think that our country is not doing dumb and evil stuff ourselves. Just my opinion, don't cut my head off for it.
