I also voted for Trump to be reinstated. I believe in freedom of speech in the same vein as Ira Glasser did when he served as the executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union in the 70's.

Instead of focusing on the analysis of what conditions in the country created this "phenomenon" of so many people following Trump and dealing with the results of this analysis accordingly, the moronic left and right want to ILLEGALIZE any form of DESCENT by banning free speech.

I’m not a Trump supporter, but I don’t like that social media platforms have anointed themselves censorship authority to subjectively silence people they don’t like in an effort to control public dialog…And fuck AOC’s objections, she only has a problem because of her personal feelings, and because cancel culture hasn’t come for her yet. Based on the current culture, an argument could be made that SHE should be censored for being a fraud, which she is.

I want to hear a conversation about all the American tech companies off-shoring. Many US workers were laid off, sacrificing quality for important projects/software, much more sensitive than social media, to lesser qualified overseas workers who were cheap. So Twitter laying off a bunch of US workers? No problem. Go hire in India and save some money. And glad Trump is back.
Now we have to ask if he will restore Scott Ritters accounts.
Makes you wonder whether or not he'll bail out of Truth Social or will he try to keep them both going? After all, leaving his failing Truth Social for Twitter is like leaving the Titanic for the Lusitania.

Hell, considering how the last 2yrs have gone, I’m all for a return to 2016 because I could ignore Trump’s tweets a lot easier than an ever-mutating novel virus.
I wholeheartedly agree with Keaton about the farce of a vote to “reinstate” free speech, and tweeted as much at Musk. I think he’s as much of a simpleminded attention whore as Trump, but still entitled to freedom of speech as any other American citizen. Folks who are bent about it just need to learn how to use Twitter’s “block” feature, or learn to code🤷🏾♀️
