italy is blackmailing germany and other eu partners into guaranteeing its state debt .
after the eu comission and germany and others promissed hundreds of billions in aid , italy responded with the acusation that noone helps them and they better look for china and russia.
i find the current development sureal: if you dont give me unlimited access to your money you are my enemy and i will burn our shared house down, this is what we currently hear from italy.

The EU is a joke and the way they all failed Italy shines a spotlight on what an absolute failure it is. If there was any time that the EU could have stepped forward and showed that they were of any benefit to member nations at all, it would have been during this pandemic. Italy needs to exit the EU. They have every right to be upset with the EU.

If there was a extension how much would Britain have to pay the EU. Plus should the EU APPLY ( say a virus bonds ???? ) would Britain still have to pay even when they eventually leave.

EU is not at fault, the Italian government shifts the blame. They are incompetent and they don't take this seriously. Well if u don't believe me go in Czech republic, they have a competent government and they didn't have 1k deaths per day. So pls dont blame the EU for your incompetents.

The UK has one of the highest divorce rates in Europe. That shows that even husband and wife (2 persons at the beginning maybe full of love) stop being on good terms. The EU has a population of 42,000,000 inhabitants, regional differences, disparities – the same can be said about my Country, the Ruhr area is disadvantaged, Bavaria is strong and there's a lot of discord in the UK as well. Obviously you don't know your own country. It's Wonderful if representatives of the EU criticize the Organisation, to reveal failures is good and one can work to make things bettter.
What happened in the past? Greece needed help they were nearly broke. For Greece's rescue above all most of the money was paid by the German tax payer. Thus, in Greece there were posters that Showed Angela Merkel with a Hitler Moustache. She could cope with it. Of Course, Greece had to bear sacrifices, but it's getting better now. It is agreed that Italy gets money – but we can't pay for their internal debts (Euro Bonds), this by the way is strongly objected by the Netherlands.
