i wonder if these high energy prices affect countries differently ? as some countries do not have domestic energy market (either nationalised energy company and/or partial). most european countries have private energy markets (for profit)

Europe is going to have a major problem when all these companies and businesses close.
Do you think hungry starving , freezing people will stay at home even if ordered by their idiot governments ?
This is the part of socialism where they run out of other people's money.

The ruling class apparently didn't think far enough ahead to see themselves with no where to hide and no way to bargain with guards and the military to protect them.
For decades, the EU has been depending on Russia for its energy needs. Just because Russia decided to take action against Nazi terrorists in Ukraine, the EU and NATO thought it was a great idea to make all of Europe suffer by imposing sanctions. You Europeans really need to decide if Russia is really your enemy as you been told… or your leaders are your true enemy. There's a lot of evidence that the latter is the truth.
Inflation has already hit 25% in some EU countries.
