I know someone who got a government cell phone. She hates it. Her roommate gave her a cell phone to use. She said her welfare phone is garbage. I pointed out to her that is one example of government waste.

"Dr. Oz was a high quality candidate" — I think your criteria for that are different from ours.
Dr. Oz is an out-of-touch elitist who favors mutilating children, and uses words like "crudite'". He seems to be someone who has used his intelligence for his own aggrandizement, rather than to try to dig into issues that concern regular Americans, and ask well-informed questions that make out-of-touch elitists extremely uncomfortable.
The only university-educated or rich people we need in American politics now, are "class traitor" types — the ones who will hold the rest of the rich and elite-educated to account.
Anyone who is interested in the origins of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and Covid-19 disease, and in the biological research that is done in laboratories around the world, should read the book "Viral" by Alina Chan and Matt Ridley that presents the two main hypothesis-theories for how the disease broke out into the world population. Amongst many other things, the authors note that escapes of pathogens from laboratories, whilst not common, are not extremely rare and unheard of either. There have been several well-documented cases in which lab leaks of other illnesses have occurred. Most local libraries should carry this book; therefore, one won't have to even go out and buy it in order to read it.
