Elon Musk recently revealed the fact that James Baker, a former top FBI lawyer who then went on to work at Twitter, was actually secretly editing, and even deleting, the Twitter files that Elon Musk was trying to make public. This came as Elon Musk, alongside reporter Matt Taibi, released the first batch of the Twitter Files—internal communications from within the company, showing how free speech was allegedly suppressed on the platform.
However, a few days ago, Musk said that Baker had been fired from the company due to concerns about his possible role in the suppression of information.
