  3. Assange needs to be freed but not because prison and solitary confinement is unbearable. Thousands of prisoners in the US and England live and die like that. He needs to be brought to the US and placed in the most secure witness protection possible so he can testify against the bad guys after the election. Trump's love affair with Wikileaks seems to be over but that's just for optics. Wikileaks saved our republic and Assange's testimony will send some folks off to life imprisonment and some others to the gallows. Then Assange will be pardoned.

  19. I am not an expert, but I do not think President Trump can pardon someone who has not been convicted. A trial is necessary to either exonerate or convict. Maybe President Trump thinks Julian Assange is innocent of the charges and the trial will prove that? POTUS has appointed a record amount of conservative judges. Maybe Julian does not know how profoundly different the President Trump Administration is to the two parties? There is a divide worldwide in people and governments, between people who want to silence Julian Assange, and people who WANT HIS VOICE TO BE HEARD. I believe President Trump is in the latter camp and wants Julian Assange's voice to be heard. I think it has been for his protection from the former group that his feet never touched the ground when he was removed from the Embassy, and oddly enough that he has been in jail. But, his well placed distrust of American government as he knew it has been blocking efforts to protect him and/or exonerate him. Just my thoughts….not a legal expert.
