Under the guise of combating misinformation and offensive content the liberals in Canada are passing a bill that gives them the power to regulate every aspect of the internet in Canada. They are going to regulate what you post what you watch and will remove any video or post they do not like they are going to completely regulate user generated content and are implementing a zero warning 24 hour take down notice for websites they do not like they are basically trying to create a firewall where you can only see what the government will allow you to see . They are even going to regulate face book posts . The liberals are defending this by saying anyone who is against their plans to control the internet on Canada is an extremist. Tell me again how much better canada is than the u.s . Unless you have covid good luck getting medical treatment for anything else the internet bill is pure totalitarianism and I fear it's the first towards much more the same . Wanting to pass policies like this is the only reason the liberals give financial aid to people during the pandemic it's not becuase they care and it's not becuase they are progressive it's to keep people happy so there is no opposition to the anti democratic policies the liberals want to pass
