Definitely a traitor. All of us were told nothing you put online is yours in middle school. You want to advocate for privacy literacy’s courses online for everyone or be okay with Google and everyone else selling your information to the government or anybody willing to pay for it. How do you want your laws passed here? You love Amazon and Jeff Bezos but also want him to buy newspaper all over the world and praise him as a trail blazer who brings you comfort you love? You choose the American public how do you want your Privacy Laws passed?
It should be illegal to prosecute anyone who reveals that the government is breaking its own rules.

By happenstance, in 2013 I was in Hong Kong when Snowden and Greenwald were there and I saw a couple of well-designed banners with Edward's photo.

He seems to be better than wiki leaks guy…he made every possible effort to get the truth out while not exposing anyone in the field. No agents came to harm because of him. Assange on the other hand just dumped everything indiscriminately, endangering dozens of people across the world.

The story of Snowden's escape and publication of documents is wonderful. That's why it's so painful to watch Glenn capitalize on his role in that story, while insinuating that the majority of Russians would be supporting the war even without any Kremlin propaganda. There are other actors to blame for the escalation that led to the war, but outright justification of a horrendous invasion is just morally depraved. Krystal should know better than to promote someone like Glenn.

I call BS on Glenns assertion that Republican leadership leveraged impeachment in order to get Trump not to pardon Snowden, if Trump really wanted to pardon Snowden why wait till the last day ? could he not pardon him in 2017, before the midterms in 2018 ? after losing the midterms in 2018? what about 2019? 2020? he never really wanted to pardon him, only if it meant more votes for him would he probably do that.

Before America became obsessed with Russia in 2014, the press was focused on stories about Snowden's documents. It's very obvious Russia was used to distract everyone from the government corruption. It's sad that it worked. The media spins it and we live the role.
The only people obsessed with Russia is the deep stank in D.C. It has always been that way. The rest of the US doesn't believe them or care.
My take was that Putin was so desperate for soldiers he was granting all men awaiting citizenship that status so that he could ship the off to the front lines. Think there is actually a song about it…

He released US confidential documents to the world. Not just documents about American citizens being spied on. He just randomly released everything you could get his hands on. He could have put US soldiers at risk. He belongs in Russia. I'd like to see him release Russian documents and see what happens.
