Well at least the influence is there. The deep state, bureaucrats and public agents are very well conected to liberal circles, including in mainstream media, Democratic Party and so on, and their influence is there. That famous quote leaked years ago from a FBI/CIA agent saying that they would remove Trump from power is just another signal. The way they tried to protect Clinton about the attacks at the Lybian embassy in 2012 is one more act. CIA changed it's stance, from freedom fighters to deep state agents and paws. A great example of what Greenwald is stating is how it seems leaving 80 billion dollars in equipment behind may be perceived as a blunder and a political gain to get GOP votes! Politicians then will focus on heroism and soldiers coming back to their families, while we don’t see a mayor profit (maybe 60 billion) have been made in the sale of those weapons left behind while the entire bill is passed to the American people! Who cares what they do with the weapons they’ve already profited big time!
