Itamar Grotto, the former deputy director of Israel’s Health Ministry, believes that, contrary to what most of us are hearing from public officials about Omicron, the Israeli people could benefit from being infected by this COVID-19 variant.
“It could be that we should think about such a policy… of letting people get infected,” Grotto told Israel’s public broadcaster.
Jimmy Dore discusses the possibility that mass infection with Omicron could be a positive step in moving past the pandemic.

I'm confused as to what is going on at present COVID wise.
If the latest surge – assuming there really is one – is due to Omicron, and Omicron is mild as a cold, why are hospitals reportedly over crowded?
Either the idea that Omicron is mild is a lie, the idea that the latest surge is due to Omicron is a lie, or the idea that hospitals are over crowded is a lie.
This is the problem when you don't have honest journalism; you have no way of knowing what is actually going on.

I’m a 66 year old Canadian and my husband is 76 years old. We are fully vaccinated and thinking about getting the booster.
It’s a leap of faith, I’ve been harmed by medicine during my life and my life has been saved by medicine.
Every day people trust medicine to relieve their suffering and prolong their lives, without doing hours of research on the medications they are prescribed. Almost all drugs will have negative side affects long term.
Sadly, I believe as long as science and medicine are motivated by profit we will never be able to fully trust anything, period. I trust science that has not been corrupted by corporate greed. So then, who can we trust, what can we believe and why? No one has ever answered that.
I’m a high school dropout it shouldn’t be my job to spend hours researching to determine the safety and efficacy of a medication I might need, but it would always be prudent to do so. I should be able to have faith in the very people I need to trust most, our scientists and medical professionals.

87% of Americans believe mental health issues are caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain. No one on this planet knows what the chemical balance in the brain should be and no psychiatric diagnosis has ever been made using biological testing or imaging.
It’s my understanding that no knowledgeable insider believes that any mental health disorder is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain.
The pharmaceutical industry makes billions of dollars every year based on the chemical imbalance hypothesis.
1 in 5 Americans takes a psychiatric drug.
1 in 4 Canadian women take an antidepressant.
1/2-2/3 of Canadian and American foster children are being drugged for control and profit.
Almost 1/2 of psychiatric drugs are prescribed by family physicians without a psychiatric assessment.
Long term use of Ritalin has shown to cause a 10% shrinkage in brain mass in children.
The studies cited for the safety and efficacy of Adderall were from a 3 week long trial period, a trial that had been cut short. Why was that?
I took psychiatric medications for 10 years and they caused me to think and behave in ways that were contrary to my core values, I will never touch these drugs again. There are ‘Black Box’ warnings for a reason!
As a recovering alcoholic, street drug user and someone who took psychiatric medications, the one thing I have learned is, there is no magic pill. The answers to our emotional, psychological and life problems will never be found at the bottom of a beer bottle, in a line of cocaine or a drug your psychiatrist gives you. We are products of our environment.
I don’t think anyone should ever take these drugs but 87% of Americans would probably disagree with me.

I just went through omicron, and yeah all those symptoms are accurate, it is just like a regular cold. My lungs were completely fine throughout the illness it was only the throat and sinuses that were having a problem. From beginning to end it lasted 4 days. I'm 21yo triple vaxxed btw. Not terrible but still annoying
Robert Kennedy just said they want the vaccines approved for children because that's the way for the manufacturers to have no liability if the vaccines prove to be harmful.
How can you test for Omnicron when the PCR test was used for two prior COVID variants, not to mention that its inventor insisted that it shouldn't be used as a diagnostic tool for anything?
