I think Republicans would like to move on from Trump just as the Dems would like to move on from Biden. However, they are not going to pass on any chance to attack the other party or to win the House, Senate or Presidency. Krystal tries to act like this is some big change of direction, I don't agree or see that at all.

I actually agree with Krystal on the last part except for one part: not quite sure I agree that everybody is necessarily jumping to defend Trump for his sake as much as just being opposed to the action being taken against a former President (never before), the flimsy nonspecific justification, and the way they went about it. I’m basing that just from reading others’ comments throughout. I really need a Glenn Greenwald take stat.

I'm old enough to have followed Watergate extremely closely. I watched most of the hearings. One of the happiest days of my life was when the Supreme Court ordered Nixon to turn over the tapes. When Ford pardoned Nixon, I went nuts. I was wrong. What Ford realized was that there are some things you just don't do. Not only are the Deep State elites untrustworthy, they've explicitly politicized the justice system. They've crossed a line.

You need to cover this story, but you don't need to devote a whole show and future shows to it while neglecting other stories. That's what the MSM do.
