How Elites Lie to You: Propaganda & Manipulation by the Government & the Press – Noam Chomsky (1991)

In 1985, during the Nicaraguan Contra War—in which the U.S. supported the contra militia against the Sandinista government—Chomsky traveled to Managua to meet with workers’ organizations and refugees of the conflict, giving public lectures on politics and linguistics. Many of these lectures were published in 1987 as On Power and Ideology: The Managua Lectures. In 1983 he published The Fateful Triangle, which argued that the U.S. had continually used the Israeli–Palestinian conflict for its own ends. His books:

In 1988, Chomsky visited the Palestinian territories to witness the impact of Israeli occupation.

Chomsky and Herman’s Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy of the Mass Media (1988) outlines their propaganda model for understanding mainstream media. Even in countries without official censorship, they argued, the news is censored through five filters that greatly influence both what and how news is presented. The book was inspired by Alex Carey and adapted into a 1992 film. In 1989, Chomsky published Necessary Illusions: Thought Control in Democratic Societies, in which he suggests that a worthwhile democracy requires that its citizens undertake intellectual self-defense against the media and elite intellectual culture that seeks to control them. By the 1980s, Chomsky’s students had become prominent linguists who, in turn, expanded and revised his linguistic theories.

In the 1990s, Chomsky embraced political activism to a greater degree than before. Retaining his commitment to the cause of East Timorese independence, in 1995 he visited Australia to talk on the issue at the behest of the East Timorese Relief Association and the National Council for East Timorese Resistance.[137] The lectures he gave on the subject were published as Powers and Prospects in 1996.[137] As a result of the international publicity Chomsky generated, his biographer Wolfgang Sperlich opined that he did more to aid the cause of East Timorese independence than anyone but the investigative journalist John Pilger.[138] After East Timor attained independence from Indonesia in 1999, the Australian-led International Force for East Timor arrived as a peacekeeping force; Chomsky was critical of this, believing it was designed to secure Australian access to East Timor’s oil and gas reserves under the Timor Gap Treaty.

Chomsky has been a prominent critic of American imperialism[198] and believes that World War II is the only justified war the U.S. has fought in his lifetime. He believes that the basic principle of the foreign policy of the United States is the establishment of “open societies” that are economically and politically controlled by the United States and where U.S.-based businesses can prosper.[199] He argues that the U.S. seeks to suppress any movements within these countries that are not compliant with U.S. interests and to ensure that U.S.-friendly governments are placed in power.[193] When discussing current events, he emphasizes their place within a wider historical perspective.[200] He believes that official, sanctioned historical accounts of U.S. and British extraterritorial operations have consistently whitewashed these nations’ actions in order to present them as having benevolent motives in either spreading democracy or, in older instances, spreading Christianity; criticizing these accounts, he seeks to correct them.[201] Prominent examples he regularly cites are the actions of the British Empire in India and Africa and the actions of the U.S. in Vietnam, the Philippines, Latin America, and the Middle East.

Chomsky’s political work has centered heavily on criticizing the actions of the United States. He has said he focuses on the U.S. because the country has militarily and economically dominated the world during his lifetime and because its liberal democratic electoral system allows the citizenry to influence government policy. His hope is that, by spreading awareness of the impact U.S. foreign policies have on the populations affected by them, he can sway the populations of the U.S. and other countries into opposing the policies. He urges people to criticize their governments’ motivations, decisions, and actions, to accept responsibility for their own thoughts and actions, and to apply the same standards to others as to themselves.

Chomsky has been critical of U.S. involvement in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, arguing that it has consistently blocked a peaceful settlement. Chomsky also criticizes the U.S.’s close ties with Saudi Arabia and involvement in Saudi Arabian-led intervention in Yemen, highlighting that Saudi Arabia has “one of the most grotesque human rights records in the world”.

The impacts of 5G/60 GHz are not widely published. Here’s what we know from big telecom company promotional material: “60 GHz has a very distinct impact on none other than oxygen itself.” Yes, articles from companies touting benefits of 5G admit 60 GHz is absorbed by oxygen as seen by this graph.

Oxygen the atom is O. Oxygen the molecule is 02. Two atoms together.

These two atoms form the oxygen molecule and share some electrons. 60 GHz causes electrons surrounding oxygen molecules to spin, akin to how high-powered microwaves running on 2.4 impact molecules in food such as water. They’re heating, in part, by impacting those molecules to rotate or oscillate with each wave. The movement energy from the rotation of these super tiny water molecules helps heat the rest of the food.

In a similar way that 2.4 causes H20 to oscillate, 5G/60 GHz even at low power causes electrons on oxygen molecules to spin, changes to the spin frequencies on oxygen electrons impact human biology.

When you breathe air into your lungs it gets oxygen into your blood, brain, tissues etc. and oxygen entering your lungs gets picked up by a very important iron containing protein called hemoglobin in your blood.

The impact of oxygen molecules spinning the electrons is that it makes the hemoglobin unable to uptake the oxygen and get it to the rest of your body.

  6. The only reason I became politically active, outspoken publicly, is that people, specific individuals, attempted to kill me.
There are other avenues of control.

These are predicated upon warrantless surveillance and a series of object lessons.
From people with free time enough to engage in determined outcomes based on a series of presuppositions.

This would have come about because of a lack of homework done by the participants in the object lesson, if I had to guess.

I could elucidate upon this, but those who have followed along for a while have a good idea of what I am talking about.

Fortunately I have not 'faked it to make it' thus far.
My skill set and knowledge base in controlled environment agriculture and other areas is rock solid, and has been proven multiple times.

This is the carrot I dangled in return for carrots being dangled in front of me.

    This issue is non-negotiable.

How's that going, anyone who thought that they would extort, coerce, or cajole the proprietary intellectual property from me that represents significant advantage in the field of controlled environment agriculture.

It's pretty amazing, the hoops that are implied that I must jump through in order to engage in my skill set.
The open corruption that must necessarily be present in order for everything to have gone the way that it has is appalling, yet nonetheless self-evident.

    Be advised.

  7. Because the masses are notoriously short-sighted and generally cannot see danger until it is at their throat.. 😀 SO TRUE, my favourite most first line ever

  8. "alternative news". LOL. Even the authors of the program are aware of the propaganda, of how it attempts to bury authentic thinkers and media by calling them names, like "alternative". And the program authors just follow along without a fight?

  9. Power of a leader is given by people who support the leader. Its an obvious reason to manipulate people to gain power. This is why every ellection there is, candidate, will be giving utmost polished and eloquent speeches simultaniously depriving oposition of objective responce. Make no mistake, every polititian and public person is trained or has a team dedicated to public appearance and speech writing. All for the sake of "winning" the debate, the ellection regardless of principals or ideology promiced.
If you take a look at any political debates you will notice the following rules for eloquent speech :
    1. Stand or sit with spine straight but relaxed.
    2. Keep your chin up.
    3. Focus on your listeners.
    4. Speak loudly enough to be heard.
    5. Buttress words with appropriate gestures.
    6. Strategically position your body.
    7. Use vivid words that everyone understands.
    8. Speak at different speeds.
    9. Use pauses to create emphasis.

Most notable, obviously would be 5. Im fairly certain a lot of you had moments thinking "whats with that arm flapping" or body shrugging.

  10. And imagine that trump the man talking peace when all others deceive their own and watch young immature people go fight for a lie happens all the time brave humans believe the lies there fed and scream it loudly Ukraine a proxy war ffs Putin is right nato the usa and the eu caused this bs and have I been shadow banned

  11. LOL…Chomsky has revealed himself to be part of the propaganda machine…Covid mania is his downfall, he's just supporting the Elites agenda. I have trusted him for 30 years. Just another one to add to the list now. Trust no one but yourself.

  12. Sorry Chomsky cannot be trusted. He became a paragon of conspiracy talk cuz he was planted thereto control the narrative. He is the single most important name in social sciences since he dominated psycho linguistics. Obviously he was handed that laurel . Never beleive a man in his position. U speak about conspiracy with authenticity, u will be blackballed by academic community overnight. But this dude is most celebrated academically

  13. In their Private Legal Society [BAR] they can overturn any judgment they want. It’s their Private Legal Society and you’re not a part of it
They have the power and authority to turn over every single judgment in THEIR Legal Society [BAR]
Any Void Judgement in THEIR Legal Society is a Joke. They can do whatever they want with it and there’s not a damn thing you can do about it. You’re not part of THEIR Legal Society

  14. It's even way worst today. Truly 1984. And the Audicity some of these Murican and Westerner to accuse other of being Propagndized or Brainwashed is just absolutely pathetically revolting

  15. Isn't it ironic that all this rings true now. Deepstate never changes. They just cloak themselves in wherever they wish that hides what they are doing. Right left is just a color we are told to support. We know exactly what you have done and exactly what you are doing. You can no longer hide your evil deeds.

  16. Who else thinks Alex Jones is controlled opposition? Tells people legitimate information, claims to be “in the know” but extremely right wing propagandized with Christian superstition for right wing politicians.

  17. It's funny how Chomsky did not say anything about the 9/11 false flag and how he reacted to not vaccinated people by saying they deserved to die. This guy is pure controlled dissidence. This guy is pure EVIL.
