In a Twitter threat Taibbi exposed how company executives conspired with the FBI and Homeland Security while routinely violating their own policies to throttle accounts that were deemed “out of favor” for purely political reasons.

The moment the "Twitter Files" info dump to Taibbi & Weiss started, we had our answer as to why the establishment has been going ape over Musk's Twitter takeover; they knew Musk might not play ball. The interesting question is how they knew; my guess is, when he started talking about buying Twitter, he was approached and told to drop it (and why he should) and he refused.

When the argument arises:
Twitter can decide who can do what on their platform. If they want to ban someone, it's their platform.
The problem with this argument is that the censorship was at the direction of the government, which completely nullifies the above stance.
It's not that hard understanding but it's exceedingly difficult to tell a Democrat this. They just do not get what freedom of speech is or how the first amendment is an issue here.
It's simple, the government basically directed Twitter to do this. It's much worse than just if a company were involved. Let me repeat one last time: A government agency pressured/directed/advised a company to censor pertainant information to help misinformation make an election easier to win for a political party. This is some serious stuff!

Hey Kurt, dipshit, check Biden's margin of victory in the swing States that gave him the electoral votes to win. Compare that against even the most Biden-favorable error rate. You'll quickly discover that this election could have EASILY swung in Trump's favor. Don't forget, Trump was ahead in almost all swings States election night before most of these States stop counting votes that night. Then the next morning when vote counting resumed Biden immediately surged ahead in these same States. You can't be intellectually honest and not question that even a little.
