  1. if a burger joint has to sell 1000 burgers a week to pay costs and due to less discretionery spending, they only sell 500 burgers.
Burgers then increase by 100% just to pay the business costs……inflation or inefficiency?
    it is all bullshit…..

  2. From the Washington Post June 10, 2021

How do government spending and the growing deficit affect inflation?

Higher government spending and higher deficits (when the U.S. government spends more money in a year than it brings in from taxes and fees) tends to drive inflation higher.

Some economists voiced concern when Democrats passed President Biden’s $1.9 trillion relief package in March that it would overheat the economy, leading to higher prices

  3. Can vouch for it all tastes the same .was working at the pig factory, the pig gets cut up into different parts and goes to Woolies, coles and Aldi … quite literally the same pig 😂 different prices

  4. Costco is cheaper for specific products. If you want say Coca Cola or a specific cleaning product, etc.
If you want something generic, Aldi is cheaper.
Will say the meat at Costco is fantastic though, but it's not cheap, because it's good quality.

  5. If only we could choose energy providers also in North Qld as we have had 2 power outage notices from Ergon Energy in Townsville over the past 2 months but have not lost power at all.

  6. I had a discussion with my bank lender yesterday , she was busy doing re finances and NOT loans. Also anecdotally mentioned that people are not tailoring their spending habits and continue to splurge.
