Effing PREACH!
Both of the guys on this show are complete puppets
l've heard that the number of kids with gender dysphoria is way bigger now that gender identity is taught in schools. Some books available in the school library are about gender identity. Aren't those the books the parents are most concerned about? Correct me if l'm wrong. l'm no expert on this topic.
lt seems kind of disingenuous to then say it's wrong to want the books pulled from the shelves – if they are causing more confusion among kids who may not be confused otherwise…
Kim got her wake up call
Remember when Elvis was banned from the waste down on TV? I don't because I'm not a boomer
Well said Kim, beacon of truth
Anyone else reminded of Dave Rubin's recent backlash for talking about having kids?
it's like these audiences are fire, and the people chasing them keep getting shocked when they get burned for holding a single differing opinion.
Kim you are reaching. If it can't be read out loud in a school board meeting, it doesn't belong in the schools period.
A lot of YA is written at the 3rd-5th grade reading level but contain topics that are at a 11th-12th grade interest level. There are kindergartners who come to school with a 4th grade or higher reading level. When those kids are given unsupervised access to these books, there tends to be a huge emotional fall out at home. I get that schools don't care if they are causing emotional or behavioral issues at home, but they should if we are really supposed to be partners.
oh Kim, aren't you cute, telling us what kind of parent you're going to be . LOL.
Did Dr Seuss get banned? I don't remember that being how that story played out.
Wasn't it the publisher that decided to stop publishing specific books from his catalogue?
Despite my recent misgiving about Kim, this is her best take on something in months now.
Thank you for your work.
Here here depositories of knowledge they should stay
I’m with you, Kim
they can if its immoral
I am conservative, my daughter is conservative! No book burning! Openness is better than hiding! All that does is cause investigation!

As always, an excellent episode!
Kim, you dropped the ball on your panel discussion. You are of a generation that that did not go thru gender identity in kids library. I know I didn’t and many other parent. If you are not a parent then you have reason to see the harm. But to suggest kids these days know this stuff anyway and shouldn’t matter, it is a cop-out.
When I was in school in 84 making the computer in the library to sound like the school bell to get out 5 minutes early to smoke a cigarette was the fun, look at us today.
There are only two sexes. There's also an extremely rare condition where an individual has a combination of both sexes, known as intersex or hermaphroditism. "Gender" as used here is not a biological concept. It is a philosophical and/or psychological theory that has become an integral component of the various critical theory belief systems. Teaching kids that there are more than two genders is an issue of science vs. non-science and would be extremely confusing. The number of genders there are varies as the individual making the assertion. I've heard some say that there are upwards of 80 genders. The point being, teaching gender ideology in schools is tantamount to teaching religion in schools. If it's going to be taught, it should be optional, labeled accurately and kept separate from science.
When I was a kid, it was some ppl trying to ban tv shows and video games. Home life is what makes a child well-adjusted, not the media they see. It's the same drumbeat as before. Stop blaming the media that children consume for their bad behavior. Look inward and set guidelines.
So let me get this straight. You people would be perfectly ok if a complete stranger walked up to you and your child and gave them a sexually chraged or explicit book? Bwahahahaha. Rrrriiightttt. Sure you would. I sure wish i had the opportunity to test that theory
Violence however is just dandy with all these bigots.
Unbalanced reporting
Older generations trying to relate to what today's teens are being exposed to just because "they can remember when they were a teen"…. is ignorant.
Being a kid today is one huge horrible ball of confusion thanks to the woke idiot politicians that have waged a ridiculous culture war that flies in the face of not only morals, but scientific facts.
Also, does Kim have children? It takes having kids in this insane time to understand the long term psychological threat to children today thanks to these nut jobs in government
But they ban tv, movies, internet etc. oh and CRT…
you must know 0ver 50% of the usa not america please only usa are living in an stoneage religion environment surprised the earth is older than 6000 years and cleverly the usa and thre puppets nato member provoked putin to start an war how do we stop it we should invent something like independent united nation not the clown outfit uno unbeliveable
Kim you are the best logical and easy to understand
Sounds like someone was trying to discredit Kim .. obviously jealous of Kim's skill as a reporter/journalist.
The reason for the reactionary response from conservative parents is that they don't trust the teachers, curriculum or the administration. There will be not benifit of the doubt until these concerns are resolved.
I wish I were as eloquent as Kim.
