The Military Industrial Complex has successfully stolen our hearts and minds just like they did for Iraq and Afghanistan. Americans never learn.
No media coverage because after the arms dealers and corrupt politicians launder their money in Ukraine, the mainstream media gets their cut of the profits.
Politicians are supposed to be “for the people” yet I don’t see or know a single person that wants these packages passed for Ukraine but denied for American citizens. Couple more years of this and the US won’t last.

The money is graft for the military industrial complex. This is the same as it was under every other declining post-Democratic empire. The people's money subsidizes adventures around the world to steal mineral resources and trade routes, and if they win the elites get most of the money. It's been like this since Rome.

the reason this will keep happening time and time again is because HUMAN BEINGS HAS SHORT MEMORY SPAN. It is so easy to get away with things and using whatever distracting in one form or another in between crisis, and people just can not recall enough to be angry or motivated to act…as that impact or hurt has subside.

And thanks, Matt, for blurring class lines as much as you do, with your "we did this" and "we did that." Although I don't remember ever voting for or against the war budget (or anything else in this dictatorship of capital.)
Of course we've depleted our own stockpiles, now they can use the talking point "but we need another record defense bill because we need to rebuild our own weapons!"
