Time for those responsible to be held to account. In my opinion Whitey and Valance should be in prison along with half the members of Sage and the cabinet that foisted this outrage upon us. Locking people up in their homes, closing down businesses and preventing people from being with their dying loved ones – what were they thinking! This should be the absolute focus of the forthcoming Government inquiry into the pandemic response; deciding what proportion of the carnage we are now facing is down to the disproportionate policy response of the Government, and deciding how those whose businesses and livelihoods have been affected should be compensated. But no chance of that. Instead the guilty will be commended for their 'service' and no-one – no-one – will be called to account. The cost of their wrecking-ball policies will rather be left to be bourn by those who have been most damaged by this outrage – us!
