I don't know if I read that right but there as an update to the culturability of sarscov2 in vaccinated and unvaccinated is confusing. It looks like only 1 person had omicron and 9 had delta when they did the cultures. 1 person is not an ideal sample size!!

So appreciate you, Dr. Been, for sharing this cornucopia of recent studies with us with such a loss. Comment on the NEJM letter that compared time-to-culture conversion of vax, unvax, boosted. As you point out these are small numbers and we don't have much contextual information (demographics, comorbidities, or which variants (in graph E). However, it looks like they tried to do some multivariable adjustment, see Supplement table S5. 'Cox proportional hazard' is the correct statistical test (though there are important nuances) to compare the 3 chart E cohorts' overall time to conversion, and the vax and boosted cohorts' Hazard Ratios (sort of like relative risk ratios) are statistically the same as for unvaccinated. It would take a LOT more subjects to see much of a difference statistically–BUT–this is hugely intriguing and I hope for some followup research with more patients. Whether vaccines (for any disease) reduce shedding, and how quickly, is a super-important question for public health as well as personal decision making. It's disappointing if they don't, even if they can reduce severe illness. LOVE your work – many thanks!

DYSTOPIAN & CONDITIONAL FREEDOM predicated on constant compliance with rolling government mandates is not good for a free people. Especially when enforced by overt government sanctioned discrimination, ideological segregation and blatant coercion using duplicitous language under a faulty premise where noncompliance limits a free citizens ability to work, buy, sell, trade, travel, pursue an education or exercise any other God-given inalienable rights.
Then, when seeing that it’s indeed a global campaign, in the face of world-wide protests, that the media ignores wholesale, while concurrently being sponsored by vaccine producers with no accountability or liability… it is clearly revealed as an absolutely Diabolical scheme.
Then there’s the masks:
The absurd masks turn us into unwitting repeaters for a message we know to be false. When we wear one we are communicating , “you are a biohazard; I am a biohazard; we should be living in fear.” That is shameful and degrading to all involved. Especially to our trusting children.
Then, we are censored for raising the issue. That’s also Diabolical (not to mention criminal if you actually have constitutional rights).
We must outlaw vaccine passports or tracking systems that limit our freedom and compulsory masks.
When we participate/comply as individuals in such a system – we vet it, give it credence and building power which is then turned against us and those we love; we become it.
Please consider this and think before throwing your support behind these oppressive initiatives.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Why wasn't nasal rinse known to doctors from day one of the pandemic? It's the most basic knowledge of how to stop a flu/cold progressing; rinse, gargle. Nose spray before infection highly effective. Was enough to stop the pandemic in its tracks.
Vaccine efficacy would have improved if one had higher levels of Vitamin D, optimally higher than 50 ng/mL
My prayers to you and nothing shakes I world like a loss of life. I also lost family this summer and it is the most earth shaking event causing severe stress and sadness even if we celebrate their lives. I’ll find the line is between here and there and so delicate. We will all get there to someday but the sadness still remains that they have left us even if we have to go on and live our lives without them.
Can one find out if the vaccine one received is actual vaccine or placebo? Or only during Phase 1/2 trials? Why are only certain people getting side effects and not others? I’m not vaxxed, thank God, but husband and adult children are. I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop!!

Vaccines do not prevent infection. They are designed, where possible, to prevent symptomatic disease and afford protection against serious disease and death; any protection against mild disease is a bonus. The objective is too mimic the virus and to trick it into a immune response so that when infected by the real virus for the first time the body has some protection. In this regard the vaccines have been successful.

Viruses have been here since the beginning of life and been found out in deep space. There’s no real cure. Nature just has to run its course that’s all.
I will say, hello, these vaccines that were rushed,(9 mo) having not fully tested prior to being presented to the masses w/o knowledge of the long haul——-is going to haunt us for more years than the virus!

Novavax is not much better than moderna and pfizer. It still has spike protein. Dr. Pretorius showed injected spike protein of covid into test tube with blood of non covid non Vd people and found it caused clotting. This study was replicated by a few other scientists as well. There is also no study that tried it and showed different results. I remember in early 2021 when people asked me if I would get the V I told them why on earth would I put a part of a novel virus in my body when they are not doing any single tests to determine whether it can cause low grade or long term damage. Why did moderna and pfizer not do these tests that these independent researchers are now doing a year later, during the clinical trials?
What is the point of clinical trials then? Even for the myocarditis, which, btw, is on the heavy symptoms end of the same spectrum of issues due to inflammation and clotting, they did did not do a single test for it, they just waited until people showed up with symptoms after the clinical trials, not even during. Then these Vs were even given full approval without any single such test. This defies common sense. You don't need to be a medical professional to ask the common sense question will putting part of a novel virus in billions of bodies potentially cause issues and should we not do at least 1 test to check for this? Something doesn't add up here, no matter what angle you look at it from..
