I've been told that I am so old fashioned because I carry cash with me and the Discover card. We already have us checking ourselves out at the grocery stores and other stores…so. What happens you if you are a man and you grow facial hair or shave? Or you were a man decided to be a female? hmmm, have they thought of that?
Yep, just like how Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, ect. ALL have the picture "filters" 🤔 Or how our phone have facial recognition capabilities and fingerprint scans to be able to open our phones 🧐

Here in the UK, during covid in 2020 and 2021 little cameras and monitors suddenly popped on to self checkouts and my place of work which is a small manufacturing company introduced facial recognition software to clock in and out of work.
It leads me to wonder if theres something sinister at play. All this monitoring is a bit over the line and worryingly close to authoritarian surveillance society.

A biometric scan for me to pay for things. So basically that's like tattooing your pin on your forehead. Biometrics are shit because you are using information that is publicly viewable as a password. Take finger prints for example, finger prints are literally used as evidence in crimes because you leave them everywhere so it's not that hard to fake that and feed it to the scanner. A face is possibly the worst though because all I have to do now is scan your face when I want to pay for something with your card and I can get your card details wirelessly just by getting close to your wallet with a scanner. Of course you can already clone cards from scanning them which is why I use my phone for payments. Of course if someone uses your card fraudulently then the bank will give you your money back so don't worry too much about this but it's not as secure as it should be and I say this as a person who works for a direct debit company.
OK i can see shit loads of problems with this crap .and people winge about an I.D card for voting.
It's only a matter of time that people become bullied into the biometric purchasing system and hackers steal your identity using "Deep Fake" technology to clean out your bank accounts and make online transactions and purchases
This system has been in China for ages now. They tried it in Honk Kong but everyone went round smashing up cameras and rebelling….it just so happens they're upping the flouride in our water so we will just go along with anything they say.

I'm not particularly worried about them stealing my biometric data so much as stealing my money. I mean my biometric data is basically a picture of my face although maybe it's a 3d picture but you could gather that information from security cameras anyway but if my face can be used to pay what's stopping someone in the street from authenticating with my face? Also once someone has stolen your facial data you face isn't going to change so much day to day so you basically can only do this until someone steals your data.
This is really fucked up but apple pay does do this the right way
