Alex, there were some speculations at the beginning of the summer, right after Hellensky's visit to Duda. All these were based on concessions that seemed to be given to the Polish people in the former Poland territories. And, all are based on a very straight fact, namely that Poland never recognized the ownership of those territories, by Ukraine.
Unlike Hungary or Romania, which were tricked to agree to legally "cede" their territories to Ukraine as a token for NATO admission.
I am still wonder, how come Poland got this special treatment?
Was that on purpose knowing that Poland never followed their treaties?

I wonder why Merkel is talking like that. If she left her mouth shut it would still be possible for US/NATO say that Russia invasion was not provoked. Now this can not be sustained. It seems to me that she is repenting. She is trying to get rid of the ignominia that the US/NATO is fully responsible.

It would be wiser and better that the former Soviet states to realign themselves back with Russia in the new Multipolar World! I always figured flatted the Uk but it is becoming more apparent to flatten Poland first and then the UK 60 seconds later. The US won't do anything and will prevent any retaliation from Nato. They don't care if it doesn't affect them. They facilitating death but not for them.

With Merkel repeating her previous assertion that Minsk agreements were never going to be implemented, I am left wondering if Nordstream 2 was a lie as well. I mean Germany made the deal, Russia made the investment and completed the job just in time for the Germans to back out because of Russia's "invasion."
If it weren't for the mounting death toll in Ukraine all of this would seem to be theater.
