If China imposes some sort of blockade on Taiwan this could really stunt semiconductor manufacturing in that country. Which could bring millions to whoever invested in semiconductor plants elsewhere, say in the US, because their main competitor would be eliminated.

US actions are an aggression worthy of a Chinese declaration of war. This isn't the first time, either, so I expect that China will be patient. They do, however,have legitimate cause for a declaration of war. Pelosi essentially walked into someone's home without their permission and encouraged their children to revolt. It's a big deal.
I do not see a path which doesn't lead to WW3. The question is when. While I live in the US, I'll be siding with China ideologically.

What if China simply banned the export of semiconductors from Taiwan to the US? Would be very interesting.
Just to add, if anyone thinks its going to be like Ukraine, Taiwan is an Island and almost half of the island is mountainous terrain. What I would like to see happen is the people of Taiwan telling the US to "F$^& OFF!!!" Anyway, all China needs to do is fire missiles at enemy ships.
