Police force scraps ‘hate crime awareness courses’ as UK veteran arrest sparks outrage

A UK police force has backed down and announced it is scrapping its so-called hate crime awareness courses following backlash over the arrest of a British ex-serviceman, Sky News host Rowan Dean says.

“Last week a British ex-serviceman was threatened and harassed by the British police for reposting an anti-transgender meme on Twitter,” Mr Dean said.

Mr Dean said Reclaim Party Leader Laurence Fox and the party’s Chairman Harry Miller attended the scene in defence of the army veteran.

“Harry was arrested – and then released,” he said.

“The police realising they had gone too far backed down. And only a few hours ago the Hampshire police force backed down and announced they were cancelling their so-called “hate crime awareness courses”.”

Mr Dean discussed the issue with Mr Fox and Mr Miller.

  2. As much seems to be racist these days so is a marathon runner a racist for not running 100 metre races or is a sprinter of 100 metre races, a racist for not running marathons? They're the ones running races. .

  3. Bit of advice that I can give you is this.
If, in my son's case, you have been arrested because of a counter allegation from a person arrested in connection to an offence perpetrated by the individual in custody and you believe that you have not acted unlawfully tell the police that they are in danger of wrongful arrest and why you have no charge to answer.
Of course the reply will be that an allegation has been made and under PACE you are placed under arrest while they make enquiries and gather any evidence or witnesses to give a statement. I have majored in law as part of my combined honours degree and I told the police my son's arrest was unlawful and again they quoted PACE. Ok so it's a very broad brush the police have and often extremely abused by the police officer believes that after information received and match the description of the suspect you are suspected of or has reasonable suspicion of your committing an offence and you are under arrest pending further inquiries. Guilty until they have no evidence of any kind of offences and released with no further action.
I told these 2 officers under the offences against the persons act, that they are arresting the victim of a doorstep mugging and he was lawful in defending himself and property using whatever force was necessary to prevent injury to himself, loss or damage to personal property and to preserve life and limb. And seeing as he was attacked by 3 men on his door because 1 had a personal argument and brought back up, he has every right to use the amount of force necessary to prevent injury or anticipated to be used on him.
They disagreed and proceed to arrest my son on a counter allegation made by one of his attackers.
Unfortunately for the attackers 2 of them were in hospital and the 3rd ran away. The duty sergeant authorised the arrest because of the state of 1 of the attackers was in with 2 black and closed eyes, a broken nose and suspected broken or fractured ribs. The other in hospital complained of a knee injury and blood shot eye along with lips like Mick Jagger.
Now my son fought off 3 men who were intent of beating the crap out of him and fought them in his doorway to his home with his wife and 3 children inside for 15 minutes. Yes 15 minutes before the police arrived and then the ambulance. 2 were arrested 1 fled.
I commented that it's safe to assume that 3 men who made a concerted effort to gain access into his home and expressed they are going to kick ** out of him when they get in, that they are going to beat him black and blue and into the accident and emergency department in hospital. Well it didn't work out like that but my son said that he was absolutely exhausted after 15 minutes none stop fighting with 3 men and thought they were going to end up getting into the house and battering him. So a few little nuggets of self defence I had given him were used and eventually tipped the scales in his favour. So he was absolutely within the law regarding excessive force because the savage and sustained attack only stopped after 2 were incapacitated and the 3rd ran away after hearing the police sirens.

Make sure you do this if you disagree with the arrest. Every officer has a log book and takes notes and observations of any incidents or enquiries while on duty for a report to the cps at the end of shift. I made one of officers write this down in his logbook that I believe they are making an unlawful arrest of the victim of a doorstep mugging and believed he was in very real danger of serious injury as the sustained effort by his attackers and express threats to hospitalise him were credible and he did what was absolutely necessary to defend himself and property using reasonable force. I believe it is inline with a stated case by Lord chief justice Wolfe to the right of self defence and the force that you believe are going to receive and have to use to prevent or limit bodily harm or injury to yourself.
I warned that I will be considering taking litigation proceedings against the custody sergeant and duty inspector who authorised the arrest and unlawful detainment and depriving him of his liberty.
I made him draw a line under the statement and sign it along with his colleague who witnessed my statement and objection then I counter signed. (So if you argue with someone who tried to attack you and you knock them to the ground and are no longer a threat, you can't pick up an iron bar and beat them to a pulp and claim self defence because you thought he may have a concealed weapon)
But if you believe that you are going to receive X and to prevent it you had to do Y and nothing more but went to Z perhaps it's unnecessary force. It's purely subjective and your own threat perception.
When I went to collect my son from custody the following day I was asked if I would speak to the duty inspector. He basically begged that I don't proceed with the litigation proceedings and how deeply sorry they are for his arrest and the officers involved in the arrest were less than 12 months into the job etc and they assured me it will never happen again blah blah blah until I mentioned that the officers involved were acting on the direction of the duty sergeant and duty inspector who authorised the arrest.
What about their involvement? Erm…. My lad stood up and said forget it dad I'm knackered and want to go home.
I expect you to send a letter of apology without prejudice that they were wrong in the arrest and detention of my son and may I suggest that you offer a donation of £100 From police funds to a charity of his choice by way of apology. (without prejudice of course)
2 days later letter arrived and the autism research society received a little charitable windfall on behalf of the officers and staff by suggestion of a member of the public.
GET IT IN WRITING THEY SIGN IT AND YOU SIGN IT.
Banged to rights because bodycam video seems to have an awful habit of disappearing or accidentally deleted if it benefits you.

  4. Only crime in the UK is being poor and not paying bills amazing how many people suddenly chase you when that's happening to have a conversation but don't understand a thing of what you say or even try to work with you on it.

  5. The woke Police in the UK are so ineffective its embarrassing. We are overrun with criminals now and it's getting out of control. For an aussie that's probably funny. For my kids being threatened at knife point in a children's playground very real and dangerous.

  6. They weren't embarrassed, and they'll continue to do likewise because there is no 'punishment' for their misuse of power. Crime and Punishment is important but not to the Police clearly.

  7. How far can we take it back? Because a efw hundreds of years ago black people were enslaving white people… Sooooo, do i get 1 million £ in compensation for something that didn't affect me?

Get a hobby, or hang yourself. Stop being such an A hole, especially when it's only for your own personal gain.
Too much money and no repercussions for their inability nor incompetence.

If i can't do my job, i get fired, and no paycheck. These politicians and moronic followers make millions or thousands, from doing nothing, and being utterly incompetent.
They all cover for each other, and no one can do anything about it. But damn, my taxes? Yeah you can bet they're coming to get those even if i'm just 2$ behind.

If you can't do the job, it's out, and no paycheck.

Pliticians have it too easy, there's no need to care about anything or anyone when you get that high up in the power trip and movement.

Should be shot on the spot if you ask me… To a certain degree. Lieftime would be decent, but i can't be bothered to pay more taxes to keep people that ruin it for everyone else for their own gain, alive. Just seems so counterproductive, and so useless.
Not a single good reason. Not a single good argument. At all. For any of them. Unless they didn't know better. But those are the very few. The interns that get thrown into the pit to take the fall/damage for others.

    Sickening.

  8. HERE CANBERRA NOW TTHAT IS A MESS AUSTRALIA WOW KIDS IN MELBOURNE TOXIX MOULD THAT GETS INTO LUNGS BRAIN AND NO REAL ESTATE HELP TRIED EVERYTHING SICKENING SO NOW WHAT????THE QUEEN NOT RACIST WELL HARRY SAY SIR NAME THERE MATE THE DEFENCE STORIES I HAVE WOULD REALLY MAKE IT BAD DEFENCE WIFE IT HAS RUINED A FAMILY AND IS ALMOST KILLING ONE?????

  9. They are trying so hard to implement this in America. I hate this nonsensical culture we live in. Ironically I think this is pushed by alot of chinese, russian, and north korean propaganda here. Well weaken and eat ourselves alive. Until we arent strong enough to stand up for them.

  10. The UK is not a racist country it is a country that has been enslaved and classified as deceased through a fraudulent criminal unlawful birth certificate. So if we are all legally classified as deceased then how can we be racists.

  11. The definition of 'Hate Crime'…..Voicing an opinion that differs from the opinion of the 'offended', and they want you shut down legally….whilst across the road an old lady is being violently mugged in broad daylight by some 16st Albanian refugee, and the cops do nothing.

  12. Are we not all sick to death of this BULLSHIT name calling? It’s an insanity spreading like a virulent virus, let’s stand up and silence these self righteous ignorant mouthpieces
