If there is no transcendent ultimate authority that over arches all of us, then everything is lost in principle. Strict secularism is therefore the kiss of death for the rule of law, and this is because the rule of law is dependent on transcendent authority. Not a “transcendent” place-holder civic god, but rather a God with authority. I am talking about the living God, the triune Creator-God, the God of Abraham, the God who speaks, the God who is there. I am speaking about the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Unless we reject secularism as the idolatrous foundation of our liberal order, and turn back to Jesus Christ as the only possible foundation for a true liberal order, we are lost. There is such a thing as Christian secularism, and a Christian liberal order, and we must find our way back to that—because the alternative, as we are discovering to our horror, is a totalitarian secularism.

My visit my nearest Barnes and Noble once every month or two, and with each visit I notice they've cut out more of the comicbook TPB section, and filled in the space with Manga. American entertainment is dying.
Season 1 was watchable but not memorable, season 2 I got to ep 2 and stopped half way.. Didn't even consider the woke narratives it was just boring..

I am thankful to have grown up back when movies and TV were both fun. I used to spend a lot of money in the theaters to see every movie when they were first released. None of it is worth wasting time and money on now. It has been years since I have bothered to watch prime TV or go to the movies. I don't see that changing any time soon. Entertainment isn't being told how terrible I am to be an old white, straight, man. I simply refuse to watch.

I stopped watching television in 2014 when I realized I was paying to have far left propaganda sent into my home. To show how far television has fallen in terms of cultural relevance. The 1980 episode of Dallas where "who shot JR" was revealed was seen by 83 mil viewers in the US. That episode was seen by 350 mil viewers worldwide. No TV show today generates that level of interest.

My favorite superhero tv show Legends of Tomorrow became unbearable for me to watch with the Muslim character Zari complaining about acceptance of Muslims and then repeatedly hating on straight white males whenever the character got the chance. If you want to build up a religion or group I don’t care, but don’t tear down my brothers and father to do it.

I can't watch these shows anymore. They are not reality. They are an amalgamation of all the woke things the writing staff and network staff believes in, and they ruin storylines. My wife watches all the medical dramas. Once I pointed out all the garbage in them she started fast forwarding through parts since she is conscious of. She now realizes its too much for our 11 year old to sort though.

Turning Red is all about girls being confident in showing their "panda" they they discover once they hit puberty, possibly on "Onlypands" and how it's alright for you to disobey your parents if you have your own money by taking pictures of yourself that everyone likes and selling them. Now I listen to the show and I have vocal fry and a flurry of word crutches such as "LIKE" and "RIGHT" Millennial-speak really sucks. Don't get me started on the upspeak YouTube oratory style.

I was a kid during the '80s and I remember that most of the cartoons had boy characters is in it doing boy like stuff. I wished there more cartoons with girl characters doing girl like stuff. It's so disheartening that little girls today have cartoons with girl characters doing boy like stuff.
