The problem in my opinion is that the Western collective have always seen themselves as better than the rest of the world. When they make a decision and it doesnt work out, they ALWAYS double down instead of reversing course to save the situation. And when doubling down doesn't work, they drive themselves into complete ruin before they will EVER ADMIT that they were wrong. I'm almost 50 years old and i've always seen it played out this way in my lifetime. Never admit they were wrong and save the situation.
