‘Russian warship, go f— yourself’: Ukrainian soldier’s last words to Russian troops

Russian forces have captured Zmiinyi Island in the Black Sea, also known as Snake Island, where 82 Ukrainian soldiers surrendered to them, Moscow’s defence ministry said.

Ukrainian officials have said that all 13 border guards deployed on the island, located south of the port city of Odessa, were killed by arms fire from a Russian warship.

An audio recording revealed the last words Ukrainian soldiers said to the Russian warship which demanded their surrender.
