  1. As stated by the Supreme court, if the government compels a private entity to take a particular action or acts jointly with a private entity, then they are considered government actors for 1st amendment purposes and it becomes a censorship issue, so yeah, anyone who was deplatformed by twitter, et al at the suggestion of the WH can sue under the 1st amendment, so long as they did not violate the platform's terms of use. Great reporting by Saagar.

  2. Yes and as always, since these are Democrats they will not be held accountable and the media wont cover it. Had Trump and his admin did this everyone would act like it was the end of the world. If shit like this doesnt wake people up to how corrupt and evil Democrats are then nothing will.

  3. This is a direct violation of his oath to defend the Constitution. I want him removed from office. I no longer consent to be governed by this administration, as they weaponize the judicial system to target their political opposition.

  4. I don't really know why Saagar is confused by people who still wear masks as the virus is still spreading and killing people. Some folks have family at home who are compromised and they don't want to get them sick. It's not rocket science Saagar.

  5. Strong work on this one ☝️, don’t get me wrong you’re still very much a tool who would get con out of your corn hole in the real world but hang tough, maybe someday you can loose the dip 💩to your left and stand tall on your own, until then be safe out there don’t fall off your scooter 🛴

  6. You know some people still wear them when exposed. That way they can go about their lives but not spread if they are contagious. Same thing Asian countries have been doing for decades.

  7. The one major problem with Sagaar's take is that he absolves Twitter of any wrong doing. He makes it seem like Twitter is a public domain maintained by the government. It's not! Is it bad that the government pressured Twitter to do this? Yes. Did Twitter have to? No. Twitter wanted to.

If the government was to blame, the government would be the defendant in the lawsuit, which they are not.

  8. Thank you for covering this sagar.
It's been very painful to witness the criminal behavior of my government for the last few years.
And even more painful to feel like I'm going through it alone.
My whole life I've been an advocate against censorship and big tech overreach.

I hope we can grow up as a nation, and start embracing open source technology and stop letting the establishment ways of doing things stunt are evolutionary growth.

  9. Social media sites shadowbanning people who have not broken their terms of service should be illegal. It's one thing to suspend people who have broken terms of service but shadowbanning people because the site doesn't like their political views and comments is unconscionable. There is even a process to appeal a suspension for breaking ToS but there is no such process to appeal being shadowbanned.

  10. Nothing will change is the problem. You have half the country scared to death where they will reject reality because they're terrified it will end up getting Trump elected.

  11. Saagar you were part of this as well. You and Krystal spoke bad about Dr. Robert Malone and looking down on people who didn't want to get vaccinated or had different views regarding Covid. Also, people speaking about other treatments for Covid besides the vac.

  12. There are no arbiters of truth. No one can be trusted with that responsibility so the only option is make all information available and let us decide for ourselves and determine our own risk.

  13. It’s so freaking tiering… It takes FOREVAH for these two to fiiiinally realize what we’ve been constantly & consistently saying for months!!! Ugh!

  14. “When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When governments fear the people, there is liberty.” – Thomas Jefferson (maybe)
"They’ll warn that tyranny is always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices." – Barak Obama (actually)

  15. yeah so the people with no real work to do grift off covid and they got banned because of the others, or whatever. Simple, but the real talk of this video is… Saagar actually believes "𝘔𝘈𝘙𝘐𝘑𝘜𝘈𝘕𝘈" causes, as berenson states, "psychosis". lulwut?

  16. This is the most direct example we have yet, but there are others. The Atlantic Council, a government-funded NATO-adjacent think-tank, works with social media companies like Twitter and Facebook to identify and remove "misinformation." Same thing with the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (which is also partly funded by the US government), ostensibly to remove foreign-backed disinformation trolls/bots. De facto government censorship is here already.
