Bret speaks with Dr. Julie Ponesse who saw her academic career of 20 years fall apart after she refused to comply with a Canadian university’s COVID vaccine mandate.
Dr. Julie Ponesse has a PhD in Philosophy with areas of specialization in ethics and ancient philosophy, a Masters in Philosophy with Collaborative Specialization in Bioethics from the University of Toronto, and a Diploma in Ethics from the Kennedy Institute of Ethics at Georgetown University.
Since then, Dr. Ponesse has joined The Democracy Fund as the Pandemic Ethics Scholar focussing on educating the public on civil liberties and has recently released her new book My Choice: The Ethics Case Against Covid-19 Vaccine Mandates.

It's more Fascist than Nazi. It's a mix between Fascist,Nazi and Communist ideas. The key component is socialism and the outstanding characteristic is Corporate Statism or Corporatism which is Fascist. You don't make analogies between actions that happened historically and actions that are happening today, you do it between ideologies. Please read the Fascist Manifesto, the Nazi Manifesto, the Communist Manifesto. They're all available online and only 5-6 pages each. You quickly realize that while the actions might not map perfectly, the ideology does. And people who are capable of great evil in the past are just as capable of committing great evils today.

Evil Unchecked, i’m not comforted that people don’t see the connection between Germany and what’s going on here, also the connection between Russia, and China, even Venezuela. Also, what happened in Germany has continued to happen in various parts of Europe and in Africa and Asia; while here what is going on hasn’t resulted in very much murder it has resulted in very much disorder, confusion, hate, and government takeover.

Both of my grandfathers spent years in concentration camps. They came to Canada forr freedom. If you hear about it first hand you recognize the signs.
It's the same game as the years before nazi Germany rose to power. The players have different names, look different and play their role in their own unique way. But all the signs are there. For more than 30 years now I've been saying thatthe US will be the next fascist state that wreak havoc on the world. The devil is in the details, as always. The parallels becoming uncanny. It might take some more years, but the US will eventually get the world into an Armageddon. Wait for it. After WWII the Germans all said "Wir haben es nicht gewusst!". If we survive it, we will know the American's words after WWIII "We didn't know".

I am a german expat and I could see the writing on the wall in Germany, so I moved out of the country. Luckily there are still sane countries out there, where the population itself learns from the mistake of others, and is against division, and if the government tries something, direct democracy will ensure that this was the last time they did it.
Thank you to both of you for your courage … once the Canadian government implements Bill S233 and digital ID it’s game over for us Canadians … there’s too many brainwashed here to get out from under that … I’m not sure really what we’re supposed to do anymore
