  1. Media has gotten so bad and so full of shit that I assume everything I read or hear is exaggerated, out of context, of just plain made up. The JRE is the ONE THING that is honest. People go on there and can talk about whatever, defend themselves, tell their story- whatever. It's uncensored and that is all but gone these days. The JRE is holding the line for freedom in "journalism' and "media."

  3. Joe Rogan should set the precedent with Spotify regarding media companies hiring ppl. who can put up with free thinking and freedom of expression. If media companies realize they have too many employees that pressure companies to oppress freedom of expression then those companies need to make changes in the way they hire staff who represent them.

  4. To place Churchill and Rogan next to each other is a very thin stretch. There is only one Churchill in a history. Rogan is a very good podcaster, but he is not one in a history. They cannot be compared.

  9. saying false thing explicitly is different from "being woke" or "cancel culture" though… I'm not saying censoring false claim is good or bad, but it's pretty dishonest for the guy on the top right to equivocate saing false thing to "being woke" or "cancel culture".

  11. Joe doesnt work for Spotify, he leased his podcast for a while for over 100 million. He already explained that the deal was he has total control over his show, the content, spotify doesn’t get to censor joe…that was the deal joe told anyway. If anybody is censoring content or guests, its joe himself. Its just soon you will have to have spotify to watch joes podcast hes going to stop uploading them to YouTube. No censoring, its just exclusive on spotify now.

  12. This is straight up censorious to the max and this proves that the left is no longer liberal like they claim! A liberal minded person wants people to be able to say whatever they want and if you disagree with what is being said, you also have the right to voice that opinion or state the facts! This is the most important issue of our time! Not just on the Rogan thing, but free speech as a whole. If Spotify employees really wanted to be fair they would lobby to have someone opposite of Rogan to be hired, but this isn't about fairness. It's about control!

  24. Don't make things complicated. Joe Rogan will be a better Joe Rogan if someone helps him with fact checks. Nothing wrong with Joe getting some help he can make mistakes too.

  29. The legal word you're looking for is "precedent". Once the judge rules on a case, lawyers can use that argument in future cases as precedent for that crime. Rogan's contract sets a precedent for other creators, artists, & personalities.

  35. So seriously people think spotify gave Rogan all that money because they like what he says or is it they wanted to own the content so they could shut him up? I think its hush money, Joe thought it was talk whatever he wanted money. Since when do people sell out and get to do what they want? If Joe wanted to do what he wanted he should have stayed Independent and his own boss, not sign a contract with someone else.

  41. Joe will have a conversation with anyone, not just the people he agrees with. That’s where these people are having problem, they don’t want actually conversations or debate, they want to control the information and the narrative.

  42. This is bullshit, Spotify knows how his podcast was and why he was so successful without them. Hopefully joe stands his ground with this and it doesn't affect the guest selection or what he has been doing for years. If u don't want to listen then find another one of the million podcast that fits your beliefs. What makes his podcast so great was what he did before Spotify.
