The FALSE Safety of China

The CCP has successfully fooled its own citizens (and some naive foreigners) into thinking China is the safest place in the world

Comments

  1. Chinese media would say: 0 kids stolen. Winston says 5 kids stolen. CNN would say 50 kids stolen, because of whiteness. Real news doesn't come from the media, it comes from people like Winston so thank you Winston and also the alternative media.

  2. Four years ago, you posted a video saying China was very safe and you were traveling all over China including going through narrow alleyways. Now you are saying you saw someone stabbed and the safety isn’t real due to underreporting. Which is it??? Also, you somehow were able to come from China to the US without US citizenship with a spouse who’s a Chinese National during the pandemic. You were just an English teacher (I think you misled people by posing as a business consultant). Were you sponsored by any anti-China group?

I also notice many comments here were something like “I am from China and what he said is true”. Hmmm…

  3. Chinese think China is a safe country is on account of no press freedom. All the presses in china are controlled by the Chinese Communist Party.

  4. California has amazing public bathrooms and parks with fresh cut grass walkways that stretch miles but all that is in the Irvine area away from the homeless.

  5. Are you able to make money or find a proper job without only talking about China? Now you finally left China and live in the US, why don’t you make videos about your life in the US? Why can’t you move on? Or is it because talking about China is the only way that you could make money

  6. Some phenomena of this vedio are true 10 years ago in China, but public security has changed a lot since govenment establish ed monitoring system. Of course you always have negative view on the monitoring system. I don't know why you use 10 years ago vedio as proof of unsafty in China? You were deported by China government, so you could no longer make money from China. Now you CAN make cheapy money by defaming China.

  7. Considering China’s GDP per capita is similar to that of Mexico’s, it would be more reasonable to compare those two countries’ “safety” than it is with the US or any other first world countries. In Mexico vs. China, China would be far more safe by a long shot. Even when you compare homicide and violent crime rates between the US (a far more developed country) and China, China wins here also even though there is a huge difference in standard of living and country development (quite impressive) – so, your opinion on this is misleading. We have serious issues here in the US so we ought to keep an open mind if we want to improve our own “safety”.

  8. Forget the media, there has been a huge uptick in hate crimes against those of Asian decent here in the US – the numbers don’t lie or mislead like the media here does. Overseas Asians have good reasons to be concerned for their love ones here in the US.

  9. I don't want to get cocky, but all of the negative things that you experienced almost a decade and half I read it from "The Chinese light novels"
And your videos just made me more sure of it, and i think all of my the fellow Chinese light novel readers are aware of but they want some solid evidence which basically is your videos
Comparing the racism you saw or experienced to that of the novel, they're just not at the same level

  10. We have freedom of press in the UK, I've been to the United States five times, New Orleans, Atlanta, New York, California, Tennessee, The US is still very segregated with the exception of New York compared to the UK, I couldn't live in America, Out of all the country's I've been to Tenerife, Malta, Portugal, Barcelona, Madrid, Amsterdam I love Amsterdam I have been there four times, Nice which is the South Of France, The US five times, Egypt but Egypt doesn't count because I am half Egyptian and half Jamaican Luxor Egypt is my second home, Out of all of those countries Amsterdam is the best and London for diversity, I grew up in London it is one of the most diverse cities in the world.

  11. Yes Americans are very friendly, they value people from other countries, In 2015 when I was in California I wanted to go to The Getty center, it was very far my hotel in Sherman Oaks, I was just about to get on the train then a lovely American man told me the bus to get which takes you straight there then you get a shuttle, Which was lovely because the train would have took ages.

  12. Some of your points are valid but I highly doubt if your so-called real-life encounters are true, I’ve stayed in China for many years but I have not experienced a single thing that you had. You live in a big city in China where cases like child trafficking should be extremely rare

  13. I’m Chinese and I use weibo daily. It’s really appalling what the atmosphere is like. Many people hate children in China, on weibo there are hundreds of thousands of people liking a post that says they would beat up a child in public if that child ‘makes’ them mad (not even their own kids, other people’s kids, which means they would be worse to children living with them, ‘cause they tend to be nicer and more polite for ‘face’ when it’s strangers, and they actually think beating up children is ‘good’ for the children, which is the most disgusting thing in this world.) and the comment section too have thousands of likes where people say they did beat up their younger brother or sister and or other kids before.
China is definitely not a safe place at least not for children. It’s the last society I would want my own children to grow up in, or even go to, when they are still children/minors.

  14. Every country has issues …me in Iran: No shit …you haven't seen issue and crackdown yet baby….
a few minutes later …Is that a black helicopter.

  15. How ironic: the "dictatorship of the proletariat," the socialist worker's paradise, has created a society where selfishness and indifference have grown into a fine art – far worse than any "capitalist" society could have ever dreamed of. Thank for telling the truth, Serpentza; you and Matt are brave and necessary souls.
