“I’m not going to run anymore.”
September 18, 2021. Worldwide Freedom Rally.
New and unseen footage emerges of the senior citizen lady pushed over by police and then pepper-sprayed at point-blank range.
After the initial group walked down Bridge Road in Richmond, they were “kettled” by police on a side street. ‘Kettling’ is a relatively new police tactic of surrounding a group of protestors and forcing them into a very confined space, before arresting them as was witnessed on Cup Day in November 2020, Melbourne, when 400 mothers, fathers, grandmothers, grandfathers and minors were surrounded and all arrested, one by one over a number of hours.
The ’lady in red’ went with the main group who were once again kettled on Barkers Road in Kew. Rather than being kettled, a number of individuals broke the rear kettle line. Some officers were assaulted while the protestors broke through. Professional photographers were also pepper-sprayed.
While an officer attends to the woman and folds the Australian flag, laughter can be heard from another officer about the events that had just unfolded.
We then come back to the splinter group who had loitered and reformed on Bridge Road in Richmond. A senior policeman goads protestors before they are again pepper-sprayed. Later, a man lays down upon the tram tracks and manages to hold up the entire public order response team (PORT) who were perhaps on their way to the main kettled group on Barkers Rd, Kew.

  1. This Footage of the Melbourne Police Behaviour & Action towards what are unarmed, Peaceful Australian's exerting their Rights to Freedom of Speech absolutely disgusts me.
    Scott Morrison & the State Premiers will soon realize they too have lost all credibility.
    Open for Business?
    I dare say with the Government Enforced measures currently out of Control in Melbourne, noone in their right Mind would be willing to come to Australia, for Fear they may never Escape! ICAC needs to Investigate all State Politicians.

  2. Thank you footage and record of events . I don't think the public understands the role the kettling plays in literally cornering the peaceful protestors into physical contact with armed police.

  3. Australians all let us rejoice,

    For we are one and free;

    We’ve golden soil and wealth for toil;

    Our home is girt by sea;

    Our land abounds in nature’s gifts

    Of beauty rich and rare;

    In history’s page, let every stage

    Advance Australia Fair.

    In joyful strains then let us sing,

    Advance Australia Fair.

    Beneath our radiant Southern Cross

    We’ll toil with hearts and hands;

    To make this Commonwealth of ours

    Renowned of all the lands;

    For those who’ve come across the seas

    We’ve boundless plains to share;

    With courage let us all combine

    To Advance Australia Fair.

    In joyful strains then let us sing,

    Advance Australia Fair.

  4. Lol that little cop girl so brave swinging at a protester with her male counterparts surrounding her…your parents should be ASHAMED…if you're a Vic cop you're there because of your low IQ and mediocrity…your malleability is why you were accepted.. PATHETIC

  5. The police are doing their job. Stop vilifying them. Yes it's immeasurably difficult in these times and I really would love to see this fkn government burn. But if you have a problem with the decisions, then go after those who make the decisions. Not the civil servants

  6. When the police order you to leave and are running at you in riot gear what do you think is going to happen? You are magically going to Gandalf “you shall not pass” them away? Moron.
