Over 1,000 people have come in through Dover already this year. Unless we act, it will be many thousands more. It’s time for the Home Secretary to step up. I witnessed first hand our Border Force acting as a taxi service on Monday morning, this must change.

  2. You now have Tony Abbott he was one of the best Prime Minsters Australia ever had. He stopped the boats full of illegal immigrants coming to Australia. Get him to sit with your immigration minister He will teach her a thing or two. He was also the best trade negotiator Australia ever had. I find all this venom being spewed about Tony disgraceful. He’s a man he’s not god, the media will always take things out of context and tell their version of a story, he’s a deeply religious man has three daughters a beautiful wife and always surrounds himself with smart business women. His sister is gay and is married to her partner. He’s a volunteer fire fighter he was on the front line every day during our catastrophe of fires last year risking his life and wasn’t paid a cent. He would go and live with indigenous people to try to learn their way of life to try to help them. The media don’t report these things. Let the man do his job he’s the best thing the UK will ever get in regards to trade. Take his advise on border control as well. Whether you like him or not he’s the best man for the Job. Our loss your gain.

  11. All this makes a mockery of decades of border protection. Decent qualified people have no chance of entering UK by official means. Just buy a rubber dinghy from Lidl in Calais and you're a UK citizen!

  14. I find it funny that if you film something in public it is now considered illegal. But yet all over the country are cctv cameras watching what we do all day 24 x 7. If you filming something in public is infringing rights what the hell is that. I will stop filming when they take down all the cctv cameras. Stop being so bloody lazy and hire police to patrol and arrest criminals and get these young gangs off the streets.

  26. Being a retired plod I am disgusted that they are spending valuable time harrassing Farage. He is investigating whats going on as he is entitled to do. Something isn't right about the direction of policing in the 2020's and I am dismayed by it all.

  36. So If you try and get in legally with a passport and visa you will get turned back due to covid restrictions, but if you throw away your documents and get on a leaky boat and enter illegally they will let you in?… makes sense

  47. Mr Farage, I do so wish that the time was ripe for you and a new model Brexit party to seize power in this unfortunate country, but of course there are too many intransigents from all political sides who haven't the foresight, bravery or wit to go with the idea – YET!
    If little expressions such as this start to be posted online all over the place, perhaps things will change for the better.
