  1. By playing Tim and Alex to congress, they've inadvertantly exposed tens of millions of people to new ideas the moment they try to find you guys.

It raises the question "Who are these guys?" Which was a huge mistake.

  2. I’ve been saying this exact sentiment for years. My wife has a full time job raising my kids as I work a 60 hour week. She is always happy now! Cheers yall

  3. As usual, Ian single handedly brings down this episode. Normies are definitely turned off listening to his constant dumb takes and incoherent lunatic ramblings. I would be shocked if the growth and outreached of this podcast isn't hindered by Ian.

  4. I too was tripping at that same lollapalooza in WV. I remember smashing pumpkins getting rained on by water bottles because they were whiney, and it was WV.

  5. Jesus. When I read the comments about Ian derailing tonight’s conversation, I didn’t know it was going to be him derailing the conversation for so long because he’s too stupid to understand how people appreciate art and entertainment!

  6. Things are "imploding" because you're not standing up to the crazies who say that you can transition from one sex to another. In case anyone is wondering, this is the stage before the "Democrats are the REAL transphobes!" stage. Thanks for helping it along by not standing up to these psychos.

  7. Ian!! about the rock concert stuff… so I've seen green day a couple times. the first time I saw them, I was in high school in 2004 or 2005 and learned a bit more liberal, so I didn't care when they said "fuck bush!" and everyone cheered (I probably did too). but during the second time I saw them in like 2009, and they made political comments, I wasnt shocked or anything. I just stood there, groaned, and rolled my eyes. sometimes artists say/do stupid shit, and it can be easy to get wrapped up into the hype of it all.. but it's okay to ignore that stuff and just appreciate the music.

I've had many positive, emotional moments at concerts though.. one in particular that stands out is when I saw The Used back in 2005. they do a crowd sing-along to their song "On My Own," and there's something special, something emotional about standing in a crowd of all sorts of different people all there to see the same band, all singing every word to this song about being alone… singing it together in perfect unison.. knowing that while we all different people with different lives and different experiences, we're there together, united by the music.

    rock on, dude. 🤘🏻

  8. I would love to become a member. Unfortunately, being on a fixed income, and both my lovely wife and I having to go back to work part time, We cannot afford to. I/we watch most of your podcasts. Thanks again for the info/insight you produce.

  9. As of November 2021, the company had 33,833 stores in 80 countries, 15,444 of which were located in the United States. Out of Starbucks' U.S.-based stores, over 8,900 are company-operated, while the remainder are licensed. Sadly, they’ll be okay.

  10. So to tims example of the mountain and the flood, its not just the strong that survive but also the smart. Climbing isnt the only option. Save your energy and use the side of the mountain to stay aloat as the water rises

  11. Tim I would like to see you do a poll on your show to see if people would vote for Trump or DeSantis for President in 2024. I think it will be Trump the majority would vote for. I don't trust other polls. I would Trust your poll.

  12. Tim, you should make your own cold brew. SUUUUPER easy and doesn't require a lot of equipment and a lot of time. Just a thought!
I will never go back to Starbucks! They have betrayed their employees and their consumers through their woke agenda.
