  3. the top 25% have a greater than 60% reduction on their tax burden vs the lower 75%. It has been this way for decades. Go look at the revenue stats. Average people are so uneducated on the taxation system.

  5. "The large ones can weather the storm. The large corporations got bailouts." Every time tragedy strikes, the poor always suffer the most and those in positions of power will do whatever it takes to make the most of people's desperation.
    It feels like we're entering a new feudal age where we'll be forced to for corporate overlords with no other recourse. This is already the reality for many people both in the US and around the world. The people need a bailout to renovate their communities and prosper.

  6. This is why the Coronavirus is way overblown. Big tech companies all doubled in value in the last 6 months including Microsoft, Apple.Amazon, and Facebook. Is it any wonder that Bill Gates is the spokesperson for all the nonsense? He wants to keep it going because his company benefits hugely from it. This pandemic was perpetrated by the Communist Chinese and the Globalists to bring down western democracies all over the world. The coronavirus numbers were greatly exaggerated including the deaths because money and power were involved. Those 195k did not all die from coronavirus but that's what many hospitals put down as the cause of death because they were compensated much more for it. Many of those people had underlying conditions where pneumonia or the flu would kill them as well and probably did. They share a lot of the same symptoms with covid9.
    If you don't think our govt would lie to us, just think the Iraq war and Iraq having WMDs. Think about Vietnam or the Russia nonsense. When the almighty buck is involved, they will lie to us just as they are doing now.

  7. I'm a lefty, but I do believe in small business. Not the way conservatives claim to, but the fact that they're almost always more accountable than big business because they exist in a community. They're held much more accountable because of their size. It's a win-win, because small businesses can still be very profitable for the owners without the same type of extortion that happens with massive corporations. It makes me very sad to see this happening, but I am in no way surprised. We must continue to fight to make this movement mainstream, and vote for the best candidates we have available to us. Maybe it'll be Bernie, maybe it'll be someone else. We have work to do. Go team.

  9. I wonder what progressive politicians are doing to address these matter. Justice Dems need to start making salient points about how the masses are getting screwed; use that to appeal to the people and then draft a list of comprehensive solutions.

  23. C'mon Kyle….. if you want trickle down economy to work…. than tge top must first have enough assets to feel safe.
    Than trickle down payback shall start.
    Now the 1% holds about 150,000$ per citizen.
    Nowadays everybody knows that 150,000$ is not enough to feel safe…..
    So lets re-schedule this meeting until reserves are about 2,000,000 / citizen…

    There is need for about 700 trillion more before trickle down can start.
    I am not saying it is right or wrong….
    I am only running the numbers… fair is fair.
    Who else is otherwise going to pay for it all.???

    Let us first trust that joe biden will solve this situation.
    He was in a political career even before trickle down economy started… let him use all his political skill and expertise to help reach those goals and help the people with that good old trickle…

  26. Hmmm, i am not sure how to fix this. I think there should definitely be a law where anyone who has over 100 million in their bank avcount should be taxed at 90% on anything over that ammount. The problem is that these guys don't have actual cash in their accounts but rather stocks in theor companies they started. I don't think you can just tax people on their stock shares. That would be a disaster. However, i don't think it is apropriate for one perspn to hold shares a company that are worth tens of billions, but i don't think you can force them to sell theor shares for the sake of paying 90% in tax. The problem is so complicated that any solution to it requires extreme measures. I still can't find anything that could be a solution to the massive wealth concentration in the US. I hope if anyone has an idea or a reference to share

  30. 9:40 I would say that has always happened, politicians used to be business people or involved with the business community. The only thing that changed in the late XIX century and early/mid XX century was that the rest of the people started getting involved in politics

  50. Your parents, grandparents and so on, built the foundation these big corporation make money on. So yeah, everybody should get a part of the wealth just because of that alone. But there are so many more reasons inequality is simply bad and unfair when looking at things as objectivily as possible. Lets hope things can get better without a bloody revolution this time. Kinda doubt it though. Its sad for the generations to come.
