  1. I always knew I was in the wrong body I always thought I was a pirate so I cut one leg off and made a wooden peg leg just so I could hear the
Ker-thunk…Ker-thunk as I walked on a wooden pier.
Life is good now that I’m disabled.

  2. I played blind with brother when I was like 8 years old. I tripped on the bricks that were around our wood stove and put my hand out to brace my fall and burnt the crap out of my hand. Game over. And my parents still had me and my brother sleep over my aunt and uncle's that same night while I was in so much pain. I guess they wanted to punish me for being an idiot around the stove but it was brutal.

  3. Helen Keller was blind, deaf and mute and became a teacher and author. If she could work, these people have no excuse for sitting on their ass and collecting a check.

  4. I'm disabled and I find it gross for people who are able bodied to do this. Those of us who are disabled don't WANT to be disabled. 9 times out of 10 I'm almost positive that disabled folks would choose to be able bodied if they were somehow able to.
EDIT Cause it's so fun for your body to betray you and for you to be in pain and sick everyday all day. (Sarcasm)?
