While I can support the reasoning for the protests, I do not support the manner in which they were done. I don't know what Canada was like, but the truckers in the DC area did nothing but harm the very people they were protesting for. Blocking the roads and making it impossible for people to get to their jobs on time and forcing those same workers to adversely adjust their time to accommodate the protestors. The law makers they were trying to address weren't affected at all. They were a mere blip on a memo and the workers were further harmed as exits were closed down for lawmakers so they could get where they needed to go without any problems. Terrible campaign.
