Actually most commercial charging infrastructure can be powered by Solar – that building could install solar and take the Charging Station off the grid. Regardless, the Charging Infrastructure as it evolves won't be slaved to the power grid the way you think it will. And it takes hours to charge one vehicle. Look at all of the vehicles we need on the road now that we don't have enough oil for now due to Biden's crazy war on oil and all the trouble we're experiencing from just a fractional reduction in oil. What in the world are we to do when we have to wait in prohibitively long lines for electric charging ??? There won't be enough charging stations, enough time to wait for charges, enough reliable electricity to meet the obviously necessary demand for transportation that we need!!
Then, does anyone really think that China or North Korea or Iran or Russia will just sit by and not attack us to take control of our abundant US resources when we disable ourselves in this unattainable ludicrous pursuit of zero footprint.
