I agree with everything Tucker is saying here. Except for one point. Okay, two points.

First, the environmental catastrophe point. Maybe it was just his satirical take on how liberals would huff and puff about environmental damage if Trump had been president and this happened? Idk. But aren't most petroleum pipelines built with remotely controllable isolation and shutoff valves at pretty regular intervals? Unlike an explosion at a well being drilled into a pressurized petroleum pocket underground (which would have zero shutoff capability except for blowout preventers at the surface of the well), I would imagine there are valves up-stream in the pipeline that could simply be shut. Or they could just stop feeding product into the pipeline. Environmental catastrophe averted.

Of course that still wouldn't change the fact that the pipeline would be unusable for quite some time until repaired. So Russia would be unable to sell product to Europe.

The other point is the issue of whodunit. Isn't one of the first things investigators consider when trying to determine the perpetrator of a crime, who benefited from the crime? In this case, the other pipeline was just recently completed that would be in direct competition with Nord Stream. Sure, it was Norway or something like that, but I'm sure they have capable people in their Navy too. Well, who knows? Don't want to pin something like this incorrectly on anyone. But just saying that seemed to me to be a line of reasonable examination that was pretty quickly glossed over in this report.

But…aside from those two things, I think Tucker — as he typically does — nailed it.
